Default HELP!!

Hi guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but lately I have found myself in a major dilemma. I teased my hair a while ago since my hair is very thin. I never combed out the tangles and so they are still there. Lately my hair has been getting even more tangly and looking a bit like dreadlocks in some areas. I personally think my hair looks great, it has a LOT of volume and isn't super curly and frizzy at the ends, more like beach waves but a tangled curly clump at the roots. I wash with baking soda and ACV twice a week. However, the parts that are looking like dread locks (Which I have no problem with dreadlocks but I'm not exactly sure I want that for my hair) is starting to worry me because it feels really ratty. I'm not sure what to do because if I use conditioner and comb all the tangles out my hair literally sticks to my head and gets kind of greasy. The ends get really curly but the roots are stick straight. This is what my hair is like without tangles so I teased it again so it would be so limp. I would really appreciate it if anyone had suggestions as to what I should do, whether that be just let my hair go and not comb it out or what. Thanks so much!!!!

The baking soda is probably part of the problem, alkaline agents are damaging to acidic skin and hair. Nobody can tell you what you should do with your hair it is your choice.
