Co-washing

How often do you co-wash? I have to wet my hair (in the shower) every day b4 I can do anything with it. Should I just use water or is it okay to co-wash daily?

Yes, you can do either. OTOH, if you've successfully eliminated all silicone, you should be able to refresh your curls without saturating it with water.

It probably comes to my shoulder blades. I'm wondering if it is too long to pineapple. I thought when you pineapple it's suppose to sit loosely ontop of the head and mine is so long it falls to the back or the sides or in my face. Maybe I'm doing it wrong lol.

I have scrunchies but they aren't satin, I need to get satin scrunchies.

I think you can still pineapple - it's mostly to make sure you're not laying on your hair and flattening your curls, so just arrange your hair once your on your pillow so you're not lying on them and all should be fine

I know a few long-haired curlies who wear a satin bonnet too, so the curls are tucked under the bonnet like an accordion.
3A with some 3B thrown in. Medium porosity. Medium Thickness. High density.

Pre-poo: Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
Low-poo: SM Coconut & Hibiscus shampoo / ElastaQP Créme Conditioning shampoo
Conditioner: Jason Moisturising Aloe Vera Conditioner

D/C: Experimenting!

Leave-in: Baptism rinse
Styler: Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity

UK curly. CG since October 2013.
Aiming for WL curls (eventually)
I have past armpit length hair which I pineapple, I just throw the length over the pillow as I lay down. That helps the canopy avoid being crushed and limits tangles at the crown.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
Experimenting with: benign neglect
I think that would work but I haven't personally tried a satin scarf. I also have a satin bonnet which works but I forgot to bring it when I moved. Lol my hair is pretty long my pineapple goes to the side lol but it keeps them from getting crushed.

My hair curls up to there when scrunched but if I don't touch it at all it's longer

I've found the regular use of protein is helping me not have to totally saturate my hair in the mornings. I can now get by with a few spritzes and scrunch and I'm good to go, most days.
2c-3a - coarse - normal-high porosity - high density - growing out to donate

Unfortunately, your using the LOC method may be working against you in that regard. If something seals water in, it also seals it out.

I wash my hair like once or twice. I use the sm smoothie on fingers and take little curls one by one. When its towards the end of the week I use a milk and make it more "fluffy" wavy than defined curly. The mist makes a huge difference too!

Sometimes I get carried away and manipulate him too much. He tells me he's fine on his own but I never listen. I wash him less now and all in all we're happy.
