Default Changing curls

Hello fellow curlies
I'm a little worried, when I was born I had very curly hair, but as I got older it straightened out. Now I'm 14 and recently out of no where my hair began to curl again. Now it's back to its original 3b, but I'm worried that it will turn straight again. Does anyone know why my hair did this and will it stay like this?

Hair simply changes as we grow up and unfortunately you can't do much to stop it - nature always has its way lol.

My hair is the perfect example of this:
SUPER curly when I was a toddler (and I mean I had ringlets with 70% shrinkage), then when I was eight to eleven it was wavy and BOOM when I turned twelve it went back to rocking ringlets. I started straightening my hair / doing chemical treatments then and now at 22 I'm finally embracing my curls. Thankfully my hair has stayed curly, so I'm hoping it won't go changing again.

Also, that's not to mention the way my hair changed COLOUR. I had dark brown hair when I was a toddler, then it went to a dirty blonde colour and then seriously bright ginger and now it's a really deep, dark brown again lol. (Seriously, it's ridiculous haha. No hair dye needed for me!).

Point being hair as a life of its own. Saying that though, lots of people say their hair gets a lot curlier when following the CG method, so maybe with a good routine your curls could be here to stay?

I'd say not to worry and just embrace what you've got for now

^ thanks I'm really loving my long curls so I really hope it's here to stay. People are so frustrating though because when it began curling again they instantly thought it was fake😂 like I would wake up every morning to make my hair a crazy mane

Don't worry about what other people think. There are always going to be people who will find something – if not this, then something else. It's their problem, not yours.

I used to work with a person who, although neither she nor anyone else had ever seen me with straight hair (a certainty since my hair had never been straight in my life) made snarky comments to the effect that "everybody" knew my hair wasn't curly, I just wanted to think it was. But if not that, she'd pick on something or somebody else because the real problem was that her head was apparently so full of negativity that it just had to seep or spew out.

Fortunately, most people grow up.

Baby Fine 3B, low porosity, normal density and elasticity
