Curly Asymmetrical Bob?

Like Tree11Likes

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried an asymmetrical bob? I saw a lady at Starbucks this morning with the BEST haircut. She had the most gorgeous curls too. I would have never thought to get a cut like that and was just wondering how many of you have, or have thought about it?

Here's a picture of what it resembled (only it was better!):

I had this cut a few years ago and absolutely loved it. the key is to have a really good haircutter (who knows curly hair do it). My hairdresser has curly hair and so does her sister who works in the salon. I first saw her sister with this cut and had to have it. Also, it grew in nicely which I know is usually a challenge. The only bad part is waiting for the ends of the bottom to be even again when you want to grow it out. I love Alicia keys asymmetrical bob when she first cut it short a few months ago

I've been told I don't have the right face shape for an asymmetrical bob

Low-poo: Looking for a new one.
Condish: V05 Tea Therapy, Body Shop Banana
Leave in: Giovanni Direct Leave In
PT: My hair needs very little. I use Suave Naturals Coconut when I need a little bit and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner.
Styler: Giovanni LA

I don't know. For all I know you have the perfect face for it! I actually had two different hair stylists tell me that. I have a heart shaped face I think.

I have a heart shape face but my hairstylist sister has a very round face and she looked great too!!

It actually made my routine easier because the shorter side for me was easiest and it automatically tapered to the back so I just styled the longer side more. I received so many compliments..I have an inverted bon now but I may go back soon!

Thanks for sharing your experiences ladies, I really appreciate it! I think my face is round, but I'm not sure. I know I look better with chin-length hair in the front. Anything shorter makes my face look fuller (or at least to me it does). I really love the inverted bob, but I think the asymmetrical is awesome too (probably just not on me).

Sometimes I get carried away and manipulate him too much. He tells me he's fine on his own but I never listen. I wash him less now and all in all we're happy.

I got it....finally! Just decided to do it. I actually like it. It's cooler (temperature wise) and something different. Instead of drastically changing my hair color, I changed my cut!

When you're posting, just scroll down under the "additional options" section and it should have a button that says "manage attachments." If you click on that, you'll be able to upload pictures. I hope that helps!
