clairol herbal essences curl boosting mousse vs tousling mousse

I went to pick up some of the curl boosting mousse which was on sale and didn't see it. They did have the tousling mousse. I thought maybe it was a replacement for the curl boosting one.
My 3a hair has done well with a combination of gel and the curl boosting formula.
Anyone with wavy/curly hair tried both? Are they pretty much the same? If I like the curl boosting will I probably like the tousling?
thanks
I feel like the tousling one is not as defining as the curl boosting one. But its been years since I been using mousse lol

Sometimes I get carried away and manipulate him too much. He tells me he's fine on his own but I never listen. I wash him less now and all in all we're happy.

I had not been using mousse for a while either. I was using gel on dripping wet hair, then blotting and applying more gel. One day I decided to try using the gel on wet hair and then mousse after blotting. I had a VG hair day.
So when I saw the Clairol Herbal Essences mousse on sale for $2 (w coupon) I had to get it.
@sdkitty you shouldbe fine then! One thing though I would totally reccomend being careful with using a mousse just cause its winter and if your hair gets dry use a good leave in or seal etc

I know a lot of curlies here use the curls mousse, but I didnt like it as well. As for the ingredients being the same - yea, I think probably a lot of companies, most notably P & G, do that, repackage it, same ingredients or maybe one insignficant ingredient change, like the fragrance. Having said that, the Tousle mousse always worked better for me, and I am thinking of trying it again...

thanks. That's good to hear. I'm a 3a so not as curly as you but I'm not really looking for tight curls. I'll give this a try soon and see how it compares to the curly version.

It's so funny with products. You don't necessarily get the same results each time anyway. Depends on how much you apply and whatever other things are going on in the universe.
Sure does! I recently discovered that combing my styling product through my hair makes a HUGE difference - such a small thing! and I have never done that with mousse...makes me wonder what would happen if I did. Will try sometime.
