Squeaky clean?

Just a question, lately when I have been washing my hair, after I shampoo it in the shower my roots feel literally..squeaky clean. Like if I run my finger down the hair its not slippery. Does this make sense? Kind of hard to explain but wondering what is that?

edit:: Just an fyi, since this started happening my hair has been extremely greasy no matter what I do (even after an ACV rinse)
You're probably stripping all the natural oils from your hair and scalp. I'd cut back on the shampoo, or use a gentler one.

I have had a similar sensation with Burt's Bees Super Shiny shampoo. I don't know what it is, because that one doesn't have sulfates. It might have to do with proteins.

I think this used to happend to me when I washed my hair. I think what is was just like Bailey422 said. I stripped all of the natural oils out and my salp reproduced a lot to make up for what I had lost. My hair used to get a lot greasier back when I washed my hair. That fact totally baffles my family that doesn't understand curlygirl.lol

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.
