L'oreal out of bed and tightly wound

Hey guys. I know there is some very lengthy info on this topic already. Sorry to start another one, but I just don't think I have the patience to read through 14 pages. :-) I just wanted to know if these products increase curl in wavy hair and what are the best techniques for applying this stuff. Thanks for all your help.
I don't think either one really increases curl. For me, LOOB helps with clumping, but doesn't make my hair curlier at all. Too much makes it kind of greasy looking.

Also, for me, TW just seems to help hold my look and keep frizzies at bay, but doesn't necessarily promote more curls.

What seems to help with actual curls is a good conditioner and then a stong gel.

3B with some 3a. Fell off but am now back on the CG bandwagon and looking for my HG products.
I've found both to be curl boosting. OOB gives me volume and seems to inrease curl. TW has glycerine (which is a curl booster) as a main ingredient and gives me more spirals. I don't know if it would give curl to wavy hair, but it boosts my 3A curls. As far as techniques, I smooth the OOB into very wet hair, and rake then scrunch the TW through my hair. I use maybe 2 teaspoons worth of OOB and quite a bit of TW, more than most gels.

Does the TW have the same scent as LOOB?

Is the TW at all drying? I remember there were a few ingredients I wasn't familiar with that made me think it might be drying and I haven't tried it yet.

I've actually gotten good frizz control from the OOB applied very sparingly on dry hair. I don't think it enhances curl on dry hair though, and on wet hair, I'd say that it didn't weigh the curl down...it didn't boost up curl for me though.

I haven't found TW drying, and I've almost used up my second bottle of it. I've been using a pretty moisturizing conditioner (Kenra Moisturizing) this winter though.

Castella, I guess what you said is what I meant about OOB enhancing curl. It gives my hair volume and lift, and doesn't weight it down at all. Since most thing do weigh down my curls, OOB is curl encouraging on me relative to most other products. There isn't anything in it that would boost curl, but I do get more curl with it than many other products.
