I miss it.

So in July I got the Japanese thermal reconditioning done on my hair. Long story short, I MISS MY CURLS!! My natural hair is like telephone cord, it's natural ringlets. And I go to a small school where basically no body has curly hair and everyone can see my new hair growing,(it's very frizzy growth) and they usually tease me saying things such as "OMG!! You have ethnic hair! You have to shop in the ethnic hair care isle and you're WHITE!!! Hahaha!!!" Ah, the maturity levels of un-intelligent seventh graders. If only my peers were as mature and intelligent as me. Hehe.

Moving along, Is there any known hair growth product that works? If there is, can y'all please comment them below.

And what is the best hair heat protectant? I'm going to have to flat iron my hair until it grows out to a length that I can cut off all the straight hair and just have curls, so I really need to protect my hair.

Thank you!

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear some of your classmates make those comments. Not only racist, but just nasty!

IMO, if you want your curls to grow out healthy you can't straight iron it. That being said, there are products out there that can help. I used to use tressenne thermal conditioning spray. Smelled great and worked well, but I only used to straighten once/mo or so.

I like the front sections of my hair to be straighter than the rest of my hair so I typically clip it back with mini clips until it's dry. It stays much straighter and doesn't require heat. Good luck!
Getting a balanced diet from food that's in as close to its natural state as possible, and with an adequate amount of protein is the first, and most important step.

I've found two CG heat protectants that I like. One is Aveda Brilliant Damage Control. ReMane Straight by Curly Hair Solutions is another.
