So I have been on the search for a great styling product! I have been using Kusco Murphy ally paste for the last year. I love the way my hair looks, but it feels a little producty and has denatured alcohol in it. I need moderate control and very little to no protiens. I am fine with gels or creams. I have tried many of the favorites here. The herbal essence gels leaves a white film in my hair as does BRHG, GF curl cream not good etiher. Any suggestions would be great from drugstore to salon. Thanks!!!

I'll suggest Re:coil since you've got a good curl pattern (3a/b) and, if you don't mind products that build up a bit, Tigi's Curls Rock Amplifer (sp?) cocktailed with a light gel. I saw a gal at my salon with 3a curls walk out after using Re:coil and she looked fabulous! Good luck.
