Am I right in guessing that if you scrunched your hair it would get bigger and curlier? To me it looks like it's 3b, but that you are purposely trying to keep it longer and less curly. Is that right? I'm just guessing!!!
The dry ends of your hair definately look 3b. The top of my hair would look a little like yours if i put product in it and pulled it back so that it couldnt shrink.

By the way, I love how shiny your hair is and I love the highlights! Your hair is very pretty.

Wrong on all counts

1) I do scrunch my hair. If I dont it would be even less curly and more clumpy. I am confused as to why you would think I "purposely" want to keep it less curly. Who in their right mind would want less curl ? I wish I had more curls!!! 2) I didnt put product in it and then pull it back while it was wet. I waited till it was 100% dry and put it up with 3 bobby pins. My hair was just as curly if not less curly looking when it was down and about 80%dry in that picture. As far as shrinkage is concerned When it was 80%dry thats about how much shrinkage I get, and I think thats way more then enough. . This is how my hair is naturally.

Edited to sound a little friendlier..

I'm so sorry! I didnt mean to offend you!!!!

My hair just does something similar when I do those things. I apologize. Some people want looser curls. I posted that so that you could correct me if I was wrong! I guess that I shouldnt have mentioned it at all.

I'm really sorry if I offended you. I feel really bad, and I hope you're not upset about it. I totally did not think you were trying to be misleading!!! I just thought that it was a method of styling your hair. I have a different hair type if I scrunch or dont scrunch, and I purposely dont scrunch! I did not think you were being misleading.
Once again, I'm sorry and maybe you can just ignore my post.

I know this might sound weird..maybe Im totally off..but my best friend has your kind of hair..it is almost like wavy but they are small bends...in the hair like you have..If it were more curly I would actually say you would be a 3b I can't explain im going off on weird tangents..but the "curl per inch" is almost that of a 3b

I just want to add that I totally believe that's how your hair is naturally. My hair is different and I guess I just had my hair type in mind too much when I was looking at your pictures. You had said that you had found a new routine that worked for you so I just jumped to conclusions on what it was. I'm sorry. To be honest, I really looked at your pictures hard to see if I was just making things up before I wrote the post. I guess I was making things up!!
Again, I am sorry. I in no way thought you were being misleading and I think I was just in a weird mood when I wrote that.

I hope we can still be friends?? I love this site and try very hard not to upset anyone. I apologize.

Zaria--I think your hair is somewhere between a 3A and 3B, just as you thought. My monitor stinks, so your dry hair pic isn't too clear. But the wet pics are pretty clear.

You just gave me an idea. I'm going to post a pic of my niece. I think she's a 3C and my sister has no idea how to style baby girl's hair.

Hi LadyP

I used the Jilbere ceramic blow dryer with the small tooth comb attachment. It took me 20 minutes to do my entire head which normally takes about 40 minutes. And the Helen Of Troy flat iron. I tried the Ceramic flat iron and it did nothing for me.
