Default Organix Haircare

I saw this new (to me) line called Organix Haircare in Duane Reade today, a bunch of round little bottles on the bottom shelf. I crouched down and picked up the "Vanilla Silk" conditioner, took a whiff and almost got knocked on my butt it smelled so good! Then I read the ingredients...and saw two cones. Then I read the the shampoo's ingredients and saw no sulfates, but two more cones.

Anyway, I figured some of you ladies who don't mind cones in their products may be interested in this. They have a mango scented poo/conditioner that is for curly hair. Smelled light and fruity. They also had a shea butter scent and coconut milk scent. But that Vanilla...OMG...I wanted to drink the conditioner it smelled so good! Just broke my heart that they contain ingredients I can't use.

I don't remember what which cones they had exactly and they don't have the ingredients on their website: http://www.organixhair.com/ But if anyone has a Duane Reade near them or any of the other stores listed on their site, go and check them out. Maybe the cones are mild or water soluble and the sulfate free poo can take them out?

I just discovered the Organix line a few weeks ago at Target... YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!! And their shampoos are sulfate free! I own the Coconut shampoo which smells heavenly and the Shea Butter conditioner. The conditioner has Cylomethicone and Dimethicone, which are both water soluble, right? I could be wrong but I'm not super strict about cones anyways. But I like both of them - I rotate the shampoo with co-washing with Suave Coconut and I really like the conditioner - it's really thick and creamy and my curls looks good.

Plus, when you buy them you get a free rebate.

To answer your question, they are not water soluble.

Ok, I know Cyclomethicone isn't water soluble, but is that different from Cylomethicone? And you're right, Dimethicone isn't water soluble, but it's pretty easy to remove.

I'm trying to see if Cylomethicone is water soluble. But there are cones in the shampoo too, and I'm not sure if those are water soluble or not, which is why I steered away from these products. Plus my hair and Dimethicone do not mix at all. Broke my heart because that vanilla conditioner smelled DIVINE!
