Co-wash suggestions?

Like Tree3Likes

I would like some ideas for a good co-wash. I was using Aquage Healing Conditioner as my co-wash and often as my rinse out. I have liked it but it is pricey. I am now trying out Jessi Curl Aloeba Daily Conditioner as the rinse out (still testing it out), but I know I don't like it as my co-wash.

2a/b hair....I think??

Doing my hair curly is all new to me after blow drying and straightening for years.

Currently Using:
- Activator: JC Rockin Ringlets
- Hold: Spiralicious
Testing Deva AngelCare after getting my hair cut.

I picked up some of the As I Am Co-wash at sally's last week and I really like it. It is thicker than my V05 and my hair feels softer and more moisturized after I use it. It was about $5.99 on sale, I think around $7 regular. It lasts longer too, because I don't need to use as much. This is the first product I used actually marketed as "co-wash" so the only thing I have to compare it to is Suave or V05 condish.
2b/c, medium-coarse, high-density, medium-porosity, CG since 2011.
--------------------------------------------
Co-wash: Suave/ VO5
RO: Yes to Cucumbers, GVPCB, Tresemme Naturals
LI: GVP CB, Yes to Cucumbers
Sealant: Argan, Grapeseed, Apricot Kernal (still working on it)
Styler: GF Pure Clean, HETT, Volumax
DT: Ion Effective Care, GVPCB, Yes to Cucumbers

Experimenting with Curly Kinks ReNew, Coil Jam and Satin Roots. Also FSG.
I use the As I Am Co-Wash and love it!

3B, fine, normal porosity, high density, medium width and length
Conditioner: Tresemme Naturals, Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle
Co-Wash: As I Am Coconut Co-Wash
Leave in Products: As I Am Leave-In, SM Smoothie/Milk, KCKT, Giovanni Direct Leave-In
Air Dry

Looking for new products and methods to try!

I like the As I Am cowash and the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine (pink label) cowash.
I tried the Eden BodyWorks cowash and I do like it. However, Suave's Natural Coconut conditioner works great for cowashing, as a leave in and its real inexpensive. The Eden is nice and I'll use it up but I won't repurchase. I never tried the AIA cowash so I can't compare.
Very fine, high porosity, currently dyed and growing out the relaxed portions. I'm pretty sure my hair's 3b something IIRC. We will be finding out for sure as time goes by.

It's official: My hair just loves Shea Moisture. I use a mixture of products from the Raw Shea Butter, African Black Soap, and Coconut & Hibiscus lines.
My favorites are As I Am coconut cowash, Trader Joes tea tree tingle condish, or for a bit more cleansing....My HG is Curl Junkie Daily Fix (kind of a hybrid between a cowash and low poo).
2C/ Coarse/ Normal porosity/ SW Florida/ Salt & Pepper
Cleanse: CJ Daily Fix, JC Cleansing Cream, TJ Tea Tree Condish
Condish: JC Too Shea, CJ Curl Rehab (both as RO & LI)
Stylers: UFD CM, CJ PP, JC Spiralicious, Darcy's Cream Gel & Cocoa bean whip
I like Curl Junkie Daily Fix as well, can't get conditioners like Suave Naturals or VO5 to work for me.

Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Repair Me, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC, UFD Curly Magic
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

Is THIS the As I Am hair product that everyone is mentioning?

Or THIS one??

It's obviously the one that says coconut co wash on it. The problem is that target has the wrong product in it's picture. The cleansing pudding is a different product from the same brand, and it's also more expensive
Medium texture, normal porosity, normal elasticity
I use the as I am cowash & leave in & love them. My stylist uses the deva curl line in my hair & I love the results. My stylist was right. I cannot duplicate the results I get from the deva products with anything else, but I'm determined to get as close as I can. The deva products are expensive, but deliver. Still on the hunt for a cheaper alternative.
VO5 Kiwi Lime Squeeze Conditioner gets my hair and scalp really clean. It also has great slip, so I often detangle after doing my scalp massage, and before rinsing that out completely. Then I use a rich conditioner, and finger comb again, just to make sure my hair is well detangled.

Like many said I use the as I am cowash, it's the first cowash I've tried and compared to the tresemme for curly hair conditioner I was using before, the cowash leaves my hair feeling amazing!
I love Aquage Healing Conditioner, too. I tend to use an inexpensive as cowash & then add a small amount of Aquage for extra moisture & slip. That way, it lasts much longer.

MAYcowash w/VO5 conditioner mid-week and rebraid again. I always unbraid w/Coconut oil on hands.
Just a note. I used the deva curl no-poo & had no problems with tangles. When using the as I am cowash, I have to detangle my hair. Will finish the as I am stuff, but the deva line will be my staple.
I use Argan care as co-wash. It's a very light conditioner . But I'm not sure if it's available in your country.
