How Can NaturallyCurly.com Improve?

One thing I've noticed is that some of the headings overlap and it looks messy. An example is the NEWBIES INFO/INTRODUCTIONS overlaps onto FORUM TOOLS. Atleast on my tablet it does. Ohhhhhhh the glare of the stark white is a bit much for me too; I may need a break.

Are we for some reason being discouraged from spending too much time in the forums??? Because I've felt the need to take breaks too...

Hello everyone. Still reading this thread. As I cannot actually fix any of these bugs, my responses are limited to "i see you, girl! i'll tell the tech team!" so I keep my repetitive responses to a minimum. I'm still reading though!

Btw, there's a couple of other threads talking about this, so there's more people displeased with the changes, plus all those that won't bother complaining about it, so I hope NC.com takes this seriously...

I'm having troubles attaching pictures myself, but I also can't see all of the other user's pictures in the curltalk. I'm not sure if it's a problem with my computer/internet or if naturallycurly experiences some troubles
www.justcurly.com

My blog is all about curls: Curly tips, curly hairstyles, curly product reviews, curly fashion and curly lifestyle!
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I would like to see an improved hairstyle section. Every time I end up over in that section, I learn absolutely nothing and end up going in circles trying to figure it out. Firstly, when I specify my hair type, length, and desired style, I get seemingly random results. Secondly, they aren't actual guides; they seem to be more like pictures of girls showing off their curls. I'm glad they're happy with the results of hard work, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for!

Anyway, rant over!
I feel like there needs to be more thin/fine content. Most of the stuff I see on here only really works for people with thicker hair.

there are a lot of people here with fine hair. in fact, i think most curlies have fine hair. less have medium texture, and there are a few who have coarse texture.
look at people's signatures to see what their hair texture is.
there was a time when we requested texture forums (as they have porosity forums), but admin felt it was not needed. so that was already addressed.

I'm a huge newbie so my opinion may not mean anything, but I agree with pp that help for fine/thin hair is hard to find. I did a search for 'low density,' and all I got was threads with 'low porosity' and 'high density' in them.
I have low density wavy hair and it seems most of the folks on the site have 3a and up hair types and mostly all high density. I know there's the individual hair type boards, which is really great.
Maybe just also split up hair type boards onto high and low density subboards so us thinnies can find info specific for us without having to dig. And dig. And dig. And dig.

Try "low density" (in quotes) and see if you get better results. It seems to me the board isn't as active as some others. I went on the general discussion forum. There were 101 people looking but no one posted in the three hours between the time I first went on in the morning and the time I went back.

I don't know what you can do about this but just my observation. When I post a question or ask for an opinion, it's nice to see some sort of response - and preferably not to have to wait 24 hours for it.
I concur about post traffic. Unfortunately some forums are just not as busy as others. I'm a part of some forums that every board is poppin off and I can't even keep up with all the activity. Others consistently have less than 20 members logged in, but hundreds of guests viewing that can't post. I wish there was more activity here cuz I'm trying to learn everything I can!
Total noob- need alot of help and explanations

I really like whatever Naturallycurly website admin have in her mind. This website is very popular for hair resources. I'm personally a great fan of this website. I'll definitely add valuable ideas to improve NaturalCurly, whenever anything comes in my mind. Thanks.
