I love my short hair! But, I don't get that volume unless I sleep on it first. Lol.

Also, the gel thing didn't work for me either. :/

I'd like to know how the Jane Carter is too. I used to use mousse way back in the day, because my hair just loved it. I don't know why I stopped using it and never went back to it. I should.

Well crud, I haven't been using enough gel, apparently!

I was watching some of Veronica Meza's channel today, she also has amazing hair!

I have never read anything but RAVES about JC wrap and roll. If you can find it.
I'd be interested in trying a mousse but have no idea what to try.

I really like the JCS wrap and roll. It is definitely light and I had great volume with it. I also use this other mousse by organix which is light as well and even has panthenol in it (good ingredient especially for high porosity).

They shipped it! Whooo, so excited, really can't wait to get it and start experimenting!

Update: they shipped it last night my time and it arrived in Belgium at noon today (my time - it's 15:39 as I type this). I'm really surprised because iHerb said and still says that the expected delivery date is 10-12 March but I just might be lucky.

I totally can't wait to try JCS stuff now, but I don't really want to go out today because I went to Ash Wednesday mass this morning and I don't really feel like getting stared at much today.

This is my ideal. [Here should be a picture of Rachel Lefevre]. Love her hair color as well.
And this one, from the Curly Girl Handbook: Ideal Hair-uploadfromtaptalk1394062409154.jpg
It looks a bit like my hair, but with much more volume and bounce. Wish I could have a bit more rootcurl.
Besides these, I love all curls in the 3-range.

Here's mine....I love how shiny it is and the 'rope-i-ness' (yes, I made that up) of the wave/curls. Great cut, too. Ideal Hair-imageuploadedbycurltalk1394065056.524254.jpg

Modified CG since November 2012- finally found what works!
My ideal hair....in an absolutely perfect world and being able to choose my hair I'd say mahoganycurls, sunkissalba, or naptural85.

I'm still trying to find a best routine too. I'm glad I saw you ladies post about the too much gel thing. When I first got my aloe vera gel that happened a few times with too much it was awful.

Have any of you tried using or making a spray gel? I read somewhere to do it you just need to mix gel with boiling water then put it in your bottle. I've been curious about it because it seems like a good way to not go overboard with my gel.

CG since November 2013.

Pre-Poo: Coconut Oil overnight, or a greek yogurt mixture
Shampoo: Curls Cleanser and/or clarifier
Conditioner: trying out different Suave Naturals conditioners and GVP's leave-in conditioner at the moment
Styler: iagirl's super smooth flax curl cream. <3
PT: iagirl's gelatin treatment 3-4 times a month
DT: conditioner or yogurt base with honey and oil if the conditioner has none.
Oh yeah, the spray gel and I'm going to have to try out some mousse too.

This is my ideal hair. When I first saw my curls I was very surprised. 1 I never knew I had curls, I thought it was just Afro. And 2 my hair actually doesn't have much curl at all. It's kind of like very small and flat ripples. Or krinkles. Like krimped hair. I really want some defined corkscrews.

Gorgeous, Utopianonawa!

I just received my Jane Carter Solution products and I can't wait to try them! It's noon here and I'm already dressed etc so it'll have to wait to tomorrow but I'm so excited. I'll make a new thread to report my findings tomorrow.
