So I've been blow drying/straightening for a while and am trying to use less damaging methods to style my hair.
I would leave it naturally curly (and I did go CG, for about 5 years) but the knots I get are insane, especially as my hair starts growing out. Taking out the knots has been much more damaging than the heat, for my hair.
Anyhow, my intent is to roller set + touch up with a flat iron. I was wondering -
1. I want to use the largest rollers possible to cut down on time. Will large ones still work, for straightening hair?
2. What are some "fool-proof" easy to use rollers? Something from Sally's would be good, I'm headed there anyways. It seems like there are so many contraptions - Velcro, magnetic, etc. I just don't want the heated ones though.
For reference, I have pretty thick, dry 2C hair.
Thanks in advance! Any advice is appreciated.
