Default Rave for Vidal Sassoon Customer Service!

About 6 months to a year ago, I purchased from Target a VS blow dryer with diffuser attachment. I think several of you on the BB have this model. It's matte black with Tourmaline, ionic, and ceramic.

Anyway, occasionally, when the dryer heats up, I have had the diffuser fall off and not only hit my head, but go plunging to the hard tile floor. After a few falls too many, one of the fingers finally broke and two more are about to break.

I emailed today their customer service and explained what happened. With no questions asked or even proof of purchase required, I was told they would mail me a new one! I am impressed.

While I haven't gotten the replacement diffuser yet, I am told it will be put in the mail tomorrow. I hope all goes well and I haven't spoken too soon, but so far, so good.

Very nice! I like that kind of customer service! Let's hope the diffuser stays on this one better.

Yes, it's very refreshing to get service with no questions asked. I wish my cell phone carrier was so easy to deal with!

I have the same dryer and my diffuser doesn't fall off. Maybe the one you have is defective somehow. That's great that they're sending you another!

Update:

I got my replacement diffuser on Monday! There was no cost at all on my part, no shipping or anything.

Helen of Troy/Vidal Sassoon definitely has great customer service.

Very cool! I will definitely keep that in mind when I get my next hairdryer. I love companies that stand by their products like that.

Kudos to you, Brio, as well for contacting the company! Hopefully, they can figure out what happened with yours and correct it for the future, but even if not, you're set and that's what matters...the customer.
