4naturals spring back gel - great for low dew points

hello Curlies,

in another thread here i was searching for help because of my limpy curls with devacare line. The girls said, it is maybe the very low dew point in my place. After experimenting, it isn`t polyquat built up (i still avoid them), every product i had at home has glycerin in it. I ordered this Gel after a long search and got me the body shop moisture condi, because this was far the best i had tried without glycerin in it.
So today, i washed my hair with the devacare no-poo, moisturized my hair with the body shop conditioner and after that, i scrunched in this gel. it has a fairly liquid consistency, smells good but not to strong and i has a strong hold! This really surprised me because of the consistency. There is absolut no frizz, much shine, very defined curls, soft to touch, and the crunch was easy to scrunch out. i love it!
By now i know i should avoid glycerin at this very low dew points here. its definitly the glycerin that devacare has in it, that it makes to not work on my hair.

so glad i found a good gel!

I've been wanting to try this for the longest time; we have low dews here for a lot of the year, but i can't find it locally.

Where did you track this down? Did you have to order it?

So, I managed to track down the last two containers of the spring back curling custard (we really should come up with an acronym for this, LOL!) at Sally's this weekend - on the clearance rack. So they won't be stocking it anymore at least in my area.

Can I say, this might just be a HG for me. I have things that work ok, but not like this!! Very light, and I don't need to use a ton of it. Good hold (I used it over FSG yesterday) and I need a certain amount of hold. Scrunches out really nicely and I get super soft hair. And I can use little bits on the ends of my dry curls - they spring right back. I guess it's aptly named

And second day, which I have a difficult time with? A-maz-ing: I spritzed with an AVG/water solution, combed it through, pixie diffused the ends. My curly ended waves look just as good as yesterday, maybe even a little better. No frizz to speak of. And that's going to be awesome when I take showers at night for an early start the next day. If it works this well in low dews, I'll be ecstatic. If it works well in higher dews (I'm a little skeptical about all the sucrose and propylene glycol in higher dews, but who knows?) I'll be over the moon and it will be the only thing I take with me when I visit my family in the east this summer.

I'll keep using it this week to see how it holds up. But right now it looks like a home run for me.

Thanks again, cherryredcurls, for the review; I think we have similar properties and it was nice to hear from someone who could be a virtual hair twin! I'd been on the fence about trying this product but I'm so glad I did. I think it does for me what I always hoped KCCC would do, minus the painful breakouts I got from that product.

SpiralHam, so glad it worked for you i also still use and love it. Dew points are a little bit higher for some days, but the results are good as always.

Yesterday, i'd combed my wet hair with curl keeper and a little bit of the 4NSBCC (here it is *lol*) and i got very beautiful curls, no frizz and LOTS of volume, amazing! Scrunched out with a tiny little bit of coconut oil, after completely air dried.

My hair is also mostly fine like yours, spiralHam. My Curls are easely combed out and be straigthened. So they need a strong hold.

Flowerpow, thanks for that great list. Which is the easiest to find on the ground, do you know?

Yes, I was asking about the gel... the spring back gel.
