Yup, that's the one(s). I remember checking the website and it being "the hairapy guys."
Uh huh, just checked again and there they are. :P
Haha, makes me think of them trying to get women to endorse it and them refusing because the products are so crappy. LOL
Last thing I need is some stange-voiced fella screeching at me about what I have to do with my hair. That blonde dye job ain't doin' you any favors either, honey. *Psssht*
Hahaha...

I just assumed it was that actor from Sex and the City. I've never verified it, but it sounds spot on to me.
I actually like the voiceover work he did for them. Hate the ads, though.
ETA: looks like it is him.

What didn't you guys like about Sunsilk? I'm just curious - I thought about trying the Hydra line, but maybe I won't after reading all of the thumbs down posts.
I haven't seen any Sunsilk commercials other than the one where the couch and boyfriend deflate (at least I think that's SS, I don't watch much TV). I didn't know they carried any color-specific products. I don't think Suave has a redhead line, either - at least I haven't seen it in the stores that I've been in. I like the Suave Radiant Brunette S&C, I have to say. Something about it makes my color pop.

I've actually never tried Sunsilk. My objection to them is based strictly on their ad campaigns, which are negative toward curlies.
There was one not that long ago, from this campaign, where they showed a curly and they were making fun of her, saying she needed to tame it. She actually looked like she had really nice curly hair and someone had just mussed it up.
Of course it was equal-opportunity — they made fun of many hairtypes in that ad. So many ads are much worse and only pick on curly hair [Garnier, Tresemme]. So Sunsilk is actually pretty low on my s-list.
If a bunch of people here gave one of the products a great review, I would probably check it out. But I've never heard anything good or bad about their actual products.

The 24/7 creme puffed and frizzed my hair up - just what it wasn't supposed to do - and that was just putting on a tiny dab when my hair was dry. Boy am I glad I only got the samples!
Other brands make much better everything, especially the color stuff.
It all has cyclopentasiloxane, the most evil 'cone ever.
The ads insult people and prey on weak people's need to feel somehow superior to others, and on people who are desperate not to seem inferior.
Pitting blondes against brunettes is just dumb, but it gets hurtful when things like "I'm sure your moms think you're pretty" or "guess you'll have to wear even shorter skirts" get involved. And word to the wise, don't go on their site for the color crap. It's horrid.

Ughhh, I hate that commerical. I tried the green one before I found this website, and it was horrid. I think it was the one for frizz, but it did pretty much the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Of course, that's probably the sulfates' fault. Anyway, it's doomed to be another lonely product, shoved into the linen closet after one or two uses, tops.

Simplicity is best, at least for my hair. I co-wash every two days or so with the BWC and use the AOHR as a rinse-out when I need moisture. On other days, I just water wash, and I use AV gel every day to style. I air-dry and don't brush or comb my hair.

I saw one of those Sunsilk ads last night, and now I get what you guys are saying. This was for the blonde products (the anti-brunette ad). I was: . The only SS ad I'd seen up until then was the one with the deflating couch (for the volumizing line), which I didn't think was very offensive. I can't believe that blonde ad! As a brunette, I was very . There is an anti-blonde one too, I gather? I would actually consider myself lucky if I was a redhead at this point. I think I'd rather they leave my hair color/type out of it altogether, rather than make insults about it.
Someone said that there are Tresemme and Garnier ads that are even worse? I've seen the Tresemme ad where they're "taming" the curly hair. I agree that her hair didn't look bad to begin with, but I didn't see that as nearly as offensive as that SS ad. The media in general seems to be anti-curly. I'm a wavy rather than curly (though I get some little curlies sometimes), so I admit I'm not in the best place to say. On that note, I rarely see any products for wavyheads. I'm just now starting to see more, and I never see ads for them (sorry didn't mean to take the glory from the redheads - just saying I understand how they feel as an ignored hair minority.).
Needless to say, I'm staying away from Sunsilk products.

Oh, my god! Don't even get me started on the Tresemme commercial. That girl's hair was beautiful! All he did was straighten it. I was so mad. Many curlies would kill for hair that behaved like hers did before he unmercifully ironed it.

I tried the leave-in from the Hydra TLC (pink bottle) line before I went CG (I was desperate!). At first, it seemed to control frizzies well, but I needed to reapply it throughout the day. Because I ended up putting a fair amount of the gunk in my hair, I lost what little shine I initially had and had a greasy look. The cyclopentasiloxane and the mineral oil were probably the main culprits. I never want to use anything with those ingredients again.
I must agree that the commercials are pretty terrible too. The blonde vs. brunette ones are just plain catty. I'm glad they left us redheads alone.

I guess I am on my own here but I don't mind the commercials. They're not any worse than any of the rest in my opinion. Also I do like Sunsilk anti-poof conditioner and use it for my final conditioner, just a little bit totally tames my poof like nothing ever has before. I also use the anti-frizz leave-in smoothed over my hair totally eliminates my frizz. Guess DSFDF

I LOVE the commercials.
I happen to be blonde.
It's hilarious watching them, so Junior High!
