Default GRRR...Sunsilk

Have you seen the latest Sunsilk commercials for the Blonde Bombshell and Beyond Brunette Color Boost line? Those aggravate me so bad. Not just how annoying the commercials themselves are but do they think that every person in the world is either blond or brunette? What about us redheads? We need help with our color too! In fact redheads need help with their color more than most any other color because we fade the fastest. Why do they ignore us redheads? It just aggravates me everytime I see their commercials and I wanted to vent.

I agree. No fair leaving out the redheads. Then again, maybe you're better off not being the target of their "witty" stabs. ;P Pitting the haircolors against each other and such is just ridiculous.
Their commercials are generally aggravating. They try to insult women into "needing" their products. Products that are crap and don't do what they clam, no less! Ick.

Their products are crap anyway, so I wouldn't let their stupid marketing get to me.

I agree with Bailey. Used one of the styling products once and it was awful!

The redheads just sit back and laugh at both sides. But I agree, the commercials are pathetic.

I’ve hated ALL of Sunsilk’s commercials – even their first ones with that annoying woman’s voice shouting, “Sunsilk!” at the end. Argh! I haven’t tried any of their products, but I’ve not heard good things. The ads are so off-putting, I doubt I’d be tempted anyway.

Default Sunsilk

It's good to know that I'm not the only one that find the Sunsilk commercials thoroughly ANNOYING I hate those commercials with a passion. I always wonder how no one in their marketing department can see that. I will continue to mute the tv when they come on.

That's a terrible thing to say! I would never laugh at anyone!

(And yeah, Sunsilk's commercials suck big time.)

Actually, I'm pretty sure that annoying voice was a fella. Equally annoying either way though.

I would suggest staying away from their products for sure. They're just awful.

Are we talking about the same commercial? The one where the voice says something about volume followed by "YELLOW" then something about poof or frizz followed by "GREEN" then says some more insults then says "Sunsilk! get hairapy"? I cannot see that voice being a dude, no way.

Pretty darn close, lol! You can see him here, the chubby one at the right: http://gethairapy.com/. As for the products, since I'm a sucker for free stuff I got some free samples and have to confess I did like the Hydra TLC 24/7 Creme but it has the "C" 'cone so it's nothing I can use regularly anyway since I'm on CG. However, because of the coupons and a sale that was going on I gave in to the temptation of buying a bottle of the one for body (because it only has dimethiconol which comes off easier) but it didn't work by itself and I don't like layering products so I gave it to my daughter (who I don't think has used it). In any case, I agree it's more hype than anything, IMO these are just average "drugstore" products.

I don't like the products & haven't seen their commercials, but their shrink-wrapped packaging slays me!

I agree, they are the most annoying ads ever! And I'm another disgruntled redhead.

You know, there aren't any lines like John Frieda or Sunsilk at all for black hair...funny. Shouldn't there be a Ravishing Raven or something to go with the Radiant Brunette, Blonde and Red?

I'm guessing that it would be hard to come up with a product for black hair that is not messy to use. In any case, natural black hair just needs shine and maybe a UV ray protectant so it doesn't develop reddish streaks when/if exposed to the sun.
