Well hello curly people ;D . yesterday i bought me a new conditioner instead of my tresemme naturals because it didnt do anything except frizziness and then my hair started feeling frizzy again and crunchy now .I feel that the problem isn't only with the conditioner now so i will tell you my whole hair routine and products and pick up the wrong product and step
First i co wash with my zero frizz 100 resuce instant smooth
Then i put Palmers coconut oil moisture gro ..ingredients : Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Microcrystalline Wax, (Cera Microcristallina), Petrolatum, Cocos Nucifera, (Coconut) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Vegetable Oil (Olus), Lanolin, Fragrance (Parfum), Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin.
Then my herbal essences set me up gel (CG friendly)
then i put my parachute coconut oil with jasmine scent
Well now my problem i know that the conditioner got some bad ingredients but i just can't change my oil and conditioner now because of alchols and mineral oil . i just need a way so i can make my hair look good until this products are finished and go to my good products again..But with my deep conditiong routine all things are good
well i was thinking of getting eco styler gel with olive oil or argan oil when my herbal essences gel is done . is it good?
well pleaseee tell mee a routineee because even when i crunch the scrunch it stays there . and i dont put too much gel
Is this the conditioner's ingredients that you are co washing with?

Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Stearyl Alcohol, Amodimethicone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Propylene Glycol, DMDM Hydantion, Citric Acid, Parfum, Methylparaben, PEG/PPG-18/18Dimethicone, Buteth-3, Disodium EDTA, Panthenol, Trideceth-12, Sodium Bensotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate, Centrimonium Chloride, Tributyl Citrate, Ethyhexyl, Methoxycinnamate

Dimethicone is not water soluble, and will build up on the hair without use of a sulfate or high content cocamidopropyl betaine poo. Cyclopentasiloxane and Amodimethicone may cause problems for some people, but don't tend to or can't cause build up problems.

I'm wondering if this is the conditioner though, because I don't see any of the drying alcohols you mentioned being in there?

Also, the Palmer's product: I'm not so worried about the MO or Petrolatum but the wax content. It may be that you are getting build up from that as well.

I would try clarifying first before making a decision on what new products to buy.

Very fine, high porosity, currently dyed and growing out the relaxed portions. I'm pretty sure my hair's 3b something IIRC. We will be finding out for sure as time goes by.

It's official: My hair just loves Shea Moisture. I use a mixture of products from the Raw Shea Butter, African Black Soap, and Coconut & Hibiscus lines.

I would definitely clarify with a silicone-free shampoo if I were you. Apple cider vinegar will not remove silicones.

There are 2 different Parachute Coconut Oils with Jasmine scent that I found. The Parachute Advansed Jasmine one is 79% mineral oil, 20% coconut oil, and the rest is fragrance and a UV blocking ingredient. The regular Parachute Jasmine Perfumed Non-sticky Coconut Oil is apparently also mostly mineral oil. A few drops of mineral oil can work well to seal moisture into the hair, since it doesn't absorb at all. However, it can build up unless you use an occasional low poo (sulfate free shampoo).

Coconut oil is great for hair, and is unique in that it enhances the hair's ability to retain protein. If you want to continue using it, I'd suggest getting pure coconut oil, not one blended with mineral oil. You don't have to spend for virgin or organic coconut oil either. The studies done on coconut oil and hair all used refined coconut oil. Refined coconut oil doesn't have any scent, but you could add an essential oil of choice to make it smell nice. If you go that route, add a drop or so to what you're using that day, instead of adding to the entire container of oil.

Overall, your conditioner and oils look heavy on the sealing ingredients (oils, waxes, silicones), and light on true moisturizing ingredients like fatty alcohols and cationic surfactants. After clarifying with a shampoo, if you need to finish your current products before getting something different, I would watch for signs of returning buildup and shampoo when you notice it. I'm not sure where you're located, but once you've finished with your current conditioner, you may want to consider looking for a new one that's rich in cationic surfactants and fatty alcohols and is free of silicones and waxes.

The following lists aren't all-inclusive, but are a few of the more common fatty alcohols and cationic surfactants...

Fatty Alcohols
Provide emollient effect, lubricity, emulsion stabilization:
Behenyl alcohol
Cetearyl alcohol
Cetyl alcohol
Isocetyl alcohol
Isostearyl alcohol
Lauryl alcohol
Myristyl alcohol
Stearyl alcohol
C30-50 Alcohols
Lanolin alcohol

Cationic Surfactants
Quaternary Ammonium compounds:used to provide conditioning, some detergency, emulsion stabilization:
Behentrimonium chloride
Behentrimonium methosulfate (gentler)
Benzalkonium chloride
Cetrimonium chloride
Cinnamidopropyltrimonium chloride
Cocotrimonium chloride
Dicetyldimonium chloride
Dicocodimonium chloride
Dihydrogenated tallow dimethylammonium chloride
Hydrogenated Palm Trimethylammonium chloride
Laurtrimonium chloride
Quaternium-15
Quaternium-18 Bentonite
Quaternium-18 Hectonite
Quaternium-22
Stearalkonium chloride
Tallowtrimonium chloride
Tricetyldimonium chloride

Then use a sulfate 'poo without silicones. Avoiding silicones to avoid even more build up is more important in this case.
