Omg you are so cute!! This is cool you are running. Your hair is beautiful, and I hope you win!! If there's anything this country needs, is a more diverse representation of women in Miss USA. Last year's debacle was something to be behold...

You're gorgeous and your hair is to-die-for. I hope you win. Keep us posted.

I'm definitely a "curly" 2c. Sometimes curly and sometimes just wavy upper layer with a ringlety under layer. My hair has been thick and coarse since birth. Strawberry blonde in color that can and does change depending on the type and amount of light.

All in all, I'm happy with my hair type but almost for sure think yours is prettier.
Thank you all so much!!! The support means so much to me!

You can find out more about me and contribute to my campaign by going to daniellesappleton dot com (I have to spell it out but just type it in normally)

I feel the love and I'm so grateful for this opportunity, I hope to make us natural girls proud!!
