I want to try mousses specifically aimed at curly hair, I already have an Elvive one (has polyquats and drying alcohol) and Studio Line Boost & Gloss (meh results).

However I epically failed when in Boots: high gloss metal cans + strong artificial light + tiny writing = mega reflection + impossible to read ingredients.

Ideally want no drying alcohol, no polyquats unless they are sunscreen (eg. 59), happy to have water soluble (prefix -PEG/ -PPG) or amine functionaised silicones (eg. amodimethicone) happy to have hydrolysed protein. My skin doesn't tolerate sulphates nor other harsh surfactants, and my hair doesn't like shampoo in general so am looking for something that is fully compatible with co-washing.

Any suggestions? A search of British Curlies didn't reveal much and I cannot join to post this thread there (tried to ages ago, messed it up so never received confirmation e-mail, cannot contact forum staff until I have clicked link in the e-mail!!).

Thanks in advance.
