When is a conditioner a deep conditioner?

I want to deep-condition my hair to fix my moisture level, but I'm wondering what conditions a DC should meet.
I'm not from the US, so I rather look at certain ingredients than at certain products.

So what kind of ingredients should a deep conditioner contain? Is it bad if a conditioner contains (sea) salt?
And what extra products do you add to a DC (e.g. honey and certain oils)?

I use a conditioner which most days I use as a leave in (Mop Top Daily Conditioner) and I add oils to it. Its a thick conditioner rich in shea butters, and emollients. Put it up in a plastic cap and let it sit for an hour to soak into my hair. I often do a protein treatment first and then a deep condition.

To me, a deep conditioner is rich in beneficial ingredients and oils that penetrate the hair, also how long you leave it on your hair. Deep conditioning will be different for everybody. I can only deep condition for 3-5 minutes, others will deep condition for an hour. Just because certain ingredients work for on person, doesn't mean they will work for everybody. Find a conditioner your hair loves. Shea butter can't penetrate the hair, so I personally don't find that to be a beneficial deep conditioning ingredient.
