Yes! I hadn't seen this before, sorry!

The day of my Deva Cut I wasn't wowwed by the products, so I continued using other brands. I got my hands on some more and haven't gone to any other brands since. I also am heavy on conditioner and light with the gel, and I love the results I get even past day 1 now!
Medium/fine textured dark brown hair. Normal porosity, with high porosity on the canopy, high density. 3B/C mix with some random 3a 'sprinkled' in.

•Conditioner: DevaCare One Condition, Aussie Moist, Suave Naturals
•No-poo: Curls Sulfate-Free Shampoo.
•Styler: DevaCurl Light Defining Gel, Spiral Solutions Firm Holding Gel
•CG as of 12/?/2014, BC 04/?/2015. First CG cut 7/9/2015.

I am having much better luck with the Deva products after getting a Deva cut and seeing how to apply products. Even if I don't use Deva products just the technique is still giving me good results. I'm trying to use up my old stuff and do need a slightly harder holding gel, but otherwise the products are working much better for me this time.
mostly 3a/fine/high porosity/low density
Cleanse: Bosley shampoo and conditioner
Stylers: Boots Curl Cream, Uncle Funky's Daughter, Curl Keeper
Gels: Volumax, Biolage, EcoStyler, BRHG
Shea butter to scrunch out the crunch and seal
Modified CG since Feb 2008
Thanks for responding! I need to get on some sales this winter, when I use them non-stop. And yes, the technique changed my life!! Even with other products, I still use lots of leave in, and a bit of styler😁 Magic....

I too have had great results with DevaCurl this time around. I used to be a huge fan and then started using less expensive products. But since I have gone back I have noticed a change for the better with my hair. For me rinsing out most of the conditioner and using more gel works best. I have consistently been getting third day hair!

In my opinion although pricey Deva Curl One conditioner is the best even on in between days but like I said I'm trying to let it last by trying other products. Deva Curl One Conditioner is definitely my cowashing/squish to condish product.
I only use Deva products. I've been using No-Poo, One Condition and Ultra Defining Gel on a regular basis. I sometimes felt like my hair looked dry even though my curl pattern was exactly what I wanted. They recently came out with Coconut Supercream. I used to leave OneC in. On the recommendation of a rep at DevaCurl, I started rinsing it out and apply Supercream afterwards (while in the shower). What a difference! My son even commented on the shine my curls have now. The only problem I have is finding the right amount to use. Sometimes I use too much, sometimes not enough and some days it's just right.
Is the super cream heavy? Any product that you could think of that might be similar in consistency or performance?it sounds interesting...

I tried taking a picture while I'm at work. It's the best I could get. 3a curls? It looks like I need to apply more Super cream to my ends.

Products used: DevaCurl NoPoo, One C, SuperCream and Ultra Defining Gel.

^^^ WOW! Beautiful! I wanna check it out when the weather cools down. Did it apply sticky at all?

Thank you!!! It's not sticky at all. I'll put a pump of it in my hand tomorrow and take a picture.

I keep forgetting to take a pic! I remember when I'm in the shower using it, but instantly forget once I'm out. It has the consistency of a conditioner. I guess my application is using it as a leave-in.
