Is jadah dolls hair real?

Like Tree11Likes

I've followed this girl on ig for two years now and I just read a comment that said she curls her hair with the herstyler baby curl wand, so usually I wouldn't care (to each her own) but this girl is known on ig specifically because of her hair, she's claimed many times its 100% natural and I believed her until I saw the above picture, my question is this, is it possible to have perfect natural curls on bleached hair? (No seriously the curls are perfect check her ig) I know I bleach my hair but I could never get curls like hers unless I used a wand, let me know what you think, y'all are the hair experts

I think she has curly hair, but I think she had help in the second shot.

I'm definitely a "curly" 2c. Sometimes curly and sometimes just wavy upper layer with a ringlety under layer. My hair has been thick and coarse since birth. Strawberry blonde in color that can and does change depending on the type and amount of light.

All in all, I'm happy with my hair type but almost for sure think yours is prettier.
She has close to 800k followers who will attack you like rabid dogs if you ask any questions regarding the authenticity of her hair so I thought I'd bring my question here, I get that she probably prefers the wand curl look as opposed to her natural dried out hair, but why lie about it? What annoys me the most is biracial girl's commenting on her photos asking why their hair doesn't do the same thing and her explanation is "we have different dna" instead of just telling the truth, you can obviously tell her hair is type 4 by the roots, smh
Maybe she tried to deviate the meaning of natural as in no heat? I think curlformers would achieve such hair. But yea, I don't think she needs to 'lie' about it.

I never thought it was natural because it was too perfect and even to be true.

Likely she meant 100% natural as in no weave/extensions, wigs, chemical treatments, etc. And yes flexi rods could also achieve that 2nd look without heat I believe. So it may be an "unnatural" curl pattern but still her "natural" hair.

Yeah but allot of people dont know you can alter your hair chemically outside the beauty community. She shouldnt have said its natural because it will make actual natural curlies feel insecure because natural curly hair always have some sort of light frizzy look and fortunately arent even!(like when straight haired folks straighten their hair to make it super sleek. Although Jada is definitely changing it completely. her hair looks in the first picture like a damaged 4A or 3C. Second picture looks like a "fake" curled with rollers iron whatever she uses... 3A. She should have said that its curled with a curling iron/whatever she uses to make her curls looser or something. I mean its fine to photoshop your photos but dont tell people you dont photoshop them just because you added a light filter. But celebrities, especially ecelebrities, all lie about that sorta stuff. I mean she uses IG. 80% of the popular users photoshops their photos and claim they only used an IG filter. I remember her claiming its her own curlpattern. yeah right....

She is beautiful with or without her natural curls however.

and no. even frizz free curls like Jada has in the second picture dont exist naturally.

Yes I agree that some transparency would be nice so that people who admire her aren't setting unrealistic beauty standards for themselves, but as you've stated it's fairly common. Although I don't think she's obligated to share her routine/styling tips if she doesn't feel like it - unless she's marketing herself as a hair/beauty guru (i don't actually know who this is so idk if that's the case). Possibly with all the critisicm people face when they put themselves out there online it's just easier to call herself completely natural and leave it at that or it's just beneficial for her image that people perceive her in that way and admire/give her attention for it.
I don't see 4a. She looks to be 3b/c. Lots of 3s have very tight curls at the hairline. Her actually looks healthy. It just seems like she needs a better haircut in the first photo. The curls in the second photo do look manipulated. I'm not sure if she is biracial (I assume that means black/white), but her answer about different DNA is accurate, especially if she's American.

But I could be wrong. and answer about different DNA? what about it? and yep she is biracial but thats irrelevant. 3B curlies, if they'd abuse their hair like her they'd likely get 2C hair...

I looked briefly at her Instagram and YouTube channel and she has a video stating she's been using a curling rod lately for something different . It was called "Jadah Dolls Curly Hair Tutorial" and it wasn't hard to find I was her page for less than 2 min lol. So no she's not misrepresenting herself. And it's true we can't have exactly the same hair as anyone else's even if we use the same product/techniques and have similar properties so I don't think she's in the wrong for her replies to fans.
Although on second thought maybe she made the video after receiving backlash from others, who knows. Either way it is from a curling wand.

Yep, she uses a curling wand. No way those curls in the 2nd photo are her natural pattern, looks too perfect and uniform.
CG since Dec. 2013
3b/c ~ fine ~ high porosity ~ low density

My son is mixed, his dad is Sudanese with extremely tightly coiled hair, he keeps it short so I don't know what type for sure but i would say 4C And I'm Puerto Rican/white with curly type 3 hair. however my sons hair is fine, low density and less curly than mine, not even close to his dads. So I think that's a bit of an assumption and there's really no way for any of us to tell what her natural hair type is.

also is your hubby north sudanese or south? if north: the north sudanese are already mixed so that might explain why. but anyhow, her being biracial regarding her hair is indeed irrelevant. biracials can look like anything.

I agree with you it's highly unlikely that someone who bleaches and uses heat regularly has curls that look this healthy but I don't think it's impossible. My hair looks like a thinner version of those curls with more size variation (if I don't finger curl section by section) and an Instagram filter hides the frizz lol.
