Default I smell of vinegar....

Hey ladies!

I decided to try ACV today, had dull hair and we have hard water here so I thought this would remove some buildup. I mixed it about half ACV and half water, poured on myhead after co wash, let sit for a min, then rinsed through. I conditioned afterwards and everything smelt fine, I plopped and styled and all that jazz, and I'm done! Hair is shining, nice and happy!

So anyway, I'm all ready to meet my sons new headteacher, and I have a last glance in the hallway mirror before leaving, my hair swings, and I get this strong hint of fish and chip shop....LOL!!!! All day I was so conscious of it after that! I kept smelling it at school, wondering if the head could smell it too! Talk about paranoia!!! I'm gonna make sure I rinse thoroughly next time!!

Other than that, great results!!!

Besides, I can live with vinegar perfume for a day if my hair looks good
Here are my curly pics, password is fuzz

But then again, too few to mention...

I hate the smell of vinegar. But I'm glad you had good results!

Hehe, I'm afraid I know of that all too well. I have to make sure I don't go to the gym on the day after I do an ACV rinse, because all that activity and sweat really amps up the vinegar scent. Always makes me crave salt & vin. chips.

I always smell a hint of vinegar after I've done an ACV rinse, but only after my hair dries.

One day I told my co-worker to forgive me if I smelled like a salad and I explained why.

I've read about people using vinegar rinses as their FINAL rinse (meaning, they don't follow with water or conditioner), and they SWEAR their hair doesn't smell of vinegar. I don't see how that's possible. Plus, it seems like it would be drying to leave vinegar sit on the hair that way.

At least you were happy with the way your hair looked, though.
