No way! 80's hair is that totally blow-fried-while-I-tried-to-scrunch-it-into-curls-that-aren't-really-there-unless-I-use-a-bottle-of-Rave-hairspray!

And this is lots of 80's hair along with horrid 80's clothes.

Ah, yes, THAT is good ol' 80's hair! Gotta love it.

jeepcurlygurl, i LOVE the 80s clothes. well not in the 'i love them because i want them' way, love them cos they're SO 80s hehe. there's many pictures of me up to the age of 5 wearing leggings and oversized jumpers and headbands. infact, i think at the age of 5 i DID have 80s curls as i used to brush them out so they were huge. if only i could find a picture.

80s fashion is back in britain tho, dont know about the US. we're starting to encoporate 70s hippy chic with 80s plastic/fake gold. it's very bizarre.

curlylew66 i just looked at your pics and ohmyGOSH you're hair is gorgeous! you can totally pull off the volume, and the cut you have is really unique and just lovely! is your hair naturally that voluminous or do you use certain products? if i want wavy looser curls i'll use cream and air dry but if i want volume (the pitiful amount i get) i'll use gel and blowdry.

Thanks danigirl hehe. You should have seen it the next morning though, there was no 'curl' left, just kinda frizzy volume. My one gripe about my curls is that I need to wash them every 2 days or so to keep them looking good, wish i could go longer!

And for some reason my hair does look bigger in that picture than it normally is. Maybe i've lost lots of hair recently

Medusa - I've no idea bout the fashion thing. Before skinny jeans were 'the' thing, and now it's the 70s huge flares with high high waist (above the bellybutton) they look cool sometimes but practically they're a nightmare. It rains 80% time here so you have water up to your knees, they get really dirty, and they're just so BIG.

I kinda like toned down hippy chic but all the glaring neon colours of the 80s give me a headache.

LOL I don't think your hair looks big at all compared to everyone else's. Especially since yours is curly and theirs isn't.

Thanks
Yes, it is has always been huge I am a mousse user.
I air dry as long as possible but I can't stand the feeling of wet hair especially against my neck. I'm a goof-ball!
So, I have to eventually run and get the diffuser to finish.
I used to have pretty much all one length with bangs. It was heavy! Now I have layers...not sure if I like it. I am in a grow out marathon right now!
I don't think I will ever be happy. I do love Joiwhip tho!
