My hair is curly in the front, wavy in the back and straight underneath, although today I got my hair cut and the stylist scrunched it a lot, so it was more uniformly curly all around. I suppose I need to scrunch more.
My hair is curly all around , straight about 2 inches on top but can get wavy sometimes with right products and alot of scrunching too and its a lil straight underneath my nape of my neck , underneath does get wavy on second day hair tho , im hoping as my hair gets longer underneath will get more wavy or curly to match .

I have curly 3a ringlets framing my face. My sides tend to be 2c waves. My back is a 3a tangled mass of curls. And my underneath is 3b. It looks really weird in my opinion. So you are definitely not the only one to have more than one type of curl on your head.
My hair is definitely straight underneathe. I hate it. It's curly in the front and sides, sometimes wavy/sometimes curly in the back. Such is life.

I think you can tell when a woman's hair is naturally curly because the curl pattern is not the same all the way around. My hair is curly all over my head, but the curls at the nape of my neck are huge spirals compared to the top of my head. The kind of curl you can "bo-ing."
