I have ringlets at the front and sides, frizzy, undefined wavy stuff at the back and straightness on top. Variety often seems to come with being a curly, unfortunately!
My hair is curly in the front, wavy in the back and straight underneath, although today I got my hair cut and the stylist scrunched it a lot, so it was more uniformly curly all around. I suppose I need to scrunch more.

My hair is curly all around , straight about 2 inches on top but can get wavy sometimes with right products and alot of scrunching too and its a lil straight underneath my nape of my neck , underneath does get wavy on second day hair tho , im hoping as my hair gets longer underneath will get more wavy or curly to match .

I have curly 3a ringlets framing my face. My sides tend to be 2c waves. My back is a 3a tangled mass of curls. And my underneath is 3b. It looks really weird in my opinion. So you are definitely not the only one to have more than one type of curl on your head.

My hair is definitely straight underneathe. I hate it. It's curly in the front and sides, sometimes wavy/sometimes curly in the back. Such is life.

funny - my hair is way curlier underneath , little spirally banana curls.
My canopy curls poop out rather quickly. I wish my top was curlier.

My hair's curlier in the front and usually less so in the back. Underneath it's barely wavy.

I think you can tell when a woman's hair is naturally curly because the curl pattern is not the same all the way around. My hair is curly all over my head, but the curls at the nape of my neck are huge spirals compared to the top of my head. The kind of curl you can "bo-ing."
What's working this week:
Shower: Garnier 3x Nutrition shampoo 1x per week, cowash with Tres Semme Naturals, condition with
GF Sleek and Shine deep conditioner
Styling: Tres Semme Naturals as leave in, L'Oreal Melting gel and HE SMU raked in, LOOB and AG Re:Coil scrunched in, Jojoba Oil scrunched in when totally dry

My hair is almost completely straight underneath even though I'm a 3C everywhere else! I cut the straighter parts shorter so they don't show through the bottom of my hair.
Texture: Fine
Porosity: Low
Elasticity: Low
Density: Medium/High...I think

I am curly in the front and sides, more wavy in the back and pratically straight underneath. I think that most of us curlies have more than one type of hair, so don't feel like you're alone.
3B with some 3a. Fell off but am now back on the CG bandwagon and looking for my HG products.
