Default in what order do you diffuse?

in what order do youdiffuse? do you put on your product and diffuse right after or do you put on your product wait a while and then diffuse? OR do you get out of the shower, wait a while, put on your product and diffuse right after? (hope that all made sence..lol)

I get out of the shower, apply product to soaking wet hair, then I air dry for 30- 45 minutes and then I diffuse for 5- 10 minutes.

I put products in while I'm still in the shower, blot for a while with a microfibre towel (as long as it takes to do my lotions, potions, make-up etc), air dry for as long as poss (ideally at least an hour) then diffuse for about 5 - 10 mins. I get mega frizz if I diffuse from wet.

I put products in soaking wet hair, scrunch one time with a microfiber towel, plop for about ten minutes, diffuse for about 10 -15 minutes then airdry.

I have done both and still have not settled on one method. My most used is to barely blot so that it is not dripping, finger comb in product and then scrunch/blot. The soaking wet in the shower thing got old really fast when I got wet gel on my back and water up my nose. I had good results blotting and then scrunching in gel but seem to get the most consistency using the above.....hair that is very wet but not dripping and then reblotting to get the curl going again.

I actually tried to do the soaking wet application method, and it seemed to work when it was really dry, but now that it's more humid, I've changed my routine. Plopping after putting on gel soaked up too much of the gel I had just applied and left my hair frizzy within a few hours of drying.

I lightly blot the water from my hair after the shower, apply gel upside down, and diffuse immediately after. This works very consistently for me.

I apply product to very wet hair, scrunch some water out with my hands, plop in a MF turban for 10-15 minutes, scrunch hair with MF turban a little bit, then diffuse for about 5 minutes. I let it airdry the rest of the way.

I apply product to soaking wet hair (while still in the shower), blot with microfiber towel, scrunch in a bit more product and then diffuse immediately after I get out of the shower. I also scrunch my hair for the first few minutes of diffusing (to encourage curl), then diffuse without scruching or touching my hair for another 10 - 12 minutes. I let my hair air dry the rest of the way (for an hour or more, if I have the time), then scrunch out any crunch before leaving the house.
