Default What is your favorite Devacurl product?

Just trying to get a general idea -- I am finally going to try these (why not I've tried everything else) but I can't get the entire line at one time.

What would those of you who have tried or are devoted to this line, recommend as the one you get the best use out of and helps your curls look the nicest? (i.e. the No Poo or LoPoo or the gel, or the Mister Right? Or is there something new?) Which one really made a difference for you?

Thanks!

The only product I like much at all is Set it Free. However, I can't stand the smell of the entire line. The smell isn't terribly bad, but it is strong!

One C, No-Poo, Low-Poo, and SIF are my favorites. One C is imo the best conditioner ever, partly because it detangles like a dream. So if I could only pick one item it would be One C, if I could pick two it would be One C and No-Poo, three would include Low-Poo. And I love SIF for scrunching out the gel crunch and for reviving second day hair. Angell is only good for me in the summer months and Mister Right I like but can live without. ArcAngell is ok, but I can't get consistent results with it. But anway, the first 4 I mentioned are the ones I use on a regular basis.

Mist-er Right and Set it Free; love them both. And the smell grew on me. OneC was just okay for me. I prefer Robert Craig condish.

If I had to pick it would be DevaCurl One Condition...I also love the No Poo and Angell.

I get my haircut there....but I hate their products.

I stick to the products they used at Deva before they had their own line.

What's the difference between Arc Angell and Angell? I am seeking a good gel too but I need hold. Maybe I will try their gel next!

What does set it Free do? is it like a hairspray or a reviver?

Arc Angell definitely has more hold than Angell, but I wasn't too crazy about it. I'll give it another go when it really warms up.

SIF for me is like a curl refreshing lotion with some hold to it. It's a really thin lotion texture and definitely works best when sprayed into wet hands (I wet my hands with either water or Mister Right first), rubbed together and then smoothed/ scrunched all over. I use it on the first day when it's time to scrunch out my gel. I just use it the way I described above and scrunch out the gel cast all over. I also use it on 2nd day hair just to refresh and perk the curls back up a bit. A bottle of this lasts me 6 months easily.

My favorite is Set it Free, followed closely by the OneC. OneC is the best conditioner, but I retain the belief that I could find something else that could work as well if I had to. I don't believe I could find another product that worked as uniquely well as does Set it Free.

No Poo is nice, the peppermint is wonderful, but you don't really need it AND OneC and I don't purchase it any more. I never tried the Low Poo or the Mister Right, and the ArcAngell was way too sticky for my taste.

My least favorite is the B'lieve In.

Low Poo is my pick, though I rarely shampoo. But it really is the gentlest for my hair. I take it to the salon for them to use after I get highlights, and it makes a huge difference with my hair not being fried afterwards.

One C is a bit heavy for my hair these days -- I use it for a few days after getting highlights. Angell doesn't have enough hold. Arc Angell is nice but I have to use a LOT of it, so it's not cost effective compared to other products that work as well. SIF is quite useful in the summer when my hair threatens to fuzz out later in the day. I've never used No Poo or Mister Right or B'Leave In.

They used Nexxus Phyto-Organics The Arts Redefining. (Sometimes referred to here as POTAER.) I've used the gel and it's very much like Angell.

What conditioners did they use to co-wash? To condition?
