Thanks I wish it would get longer! It always looks longer on the one side too...even when I cut it shorter..weird. Anyway, my routine lately is really really simple...just co-wash with Suave naturals (any scent really...used ocean breeze or coconut lately)...massage my scalp really well and then rinse, add a little more Suave or One C depending on how much more conditioning I need and let that sit for a few (concentrating on the ends) and then rinse most of that out, leaving just a bit...I rinse mostly right side up but then flip my hair upside down so I can get a little volume, then I flip back up, do a quick rinse in the shower and then once I am out of the shower, use my curlease towel or paper towel to scrunch the drippiness out and then I just scrunch in a small palmful of Angell, airdry. I've been trying to not do anything to my hair on day 2 (no wetting, etc.) and then do this routine over the following day.

Your curls are nice and full or "clumpy" as some like to call it. I wish Angell would do that for me. Your curls look fantastic.

Thank you botticellicurlygirl! Your curls remind me of mine (except your hair looks more silky!)

Wow! It still looks just as awesome as ever, only longer!! They still stay very springy and coily even with the extra length. I'm so jealous! In a good way of course.

Definitely. Look at those coils! Looks great. My poor hair - with all this hair envy I have going around, it's feeling quite unloved these days.

Seriously! It's getting longer and it still curls perfectly. And I love your highlights.

Thank everyone!!

It is longer but I can't tell a whole lot, that's for sure...it seems the longer it gets the more it just wants to shrink up! I've had it trimmed 3 times since those last photos...isn't that crazy...I think it is growing a bit faster now with the warm weather.

sfisher, your hair is awesome -- I hope someday I can have LONG curly hair!!

I love your hair! And the highlights. I'm very tempted to get highlights. But the last time they said they couldn't unless I bleached my hair because my hair is dark brown. All I ever wanted was like carmel highlights.

Thanks! My niece highlights my hair and doesn't use bleach..I consider my hair to be dark blonde on the edge of being brown and she just uses a honey color...I think it's actually called honey on whatever brand of color she uses too -- maybe you could just tell them you don't want bleached highlights just highlights a few shades lighter than your natural color, caramel just like you mentioned...I'm leary of bleach too because I don't want to dry out my hair or lose any curl. Good luck! Let me know if you want me to find out the brand my niece uses to do the highlights....

Yes I would love to know the brand your niece uses to do your highlights. I'm very nervous to do highlights. I haven't colored my hair in about a year in a half. I love my natural color now but for some reason i want to try something new for a while. I've recently lost 53 pounds and think I deserve to do something for myself, ya know? I love your color. What is your natural hair color, dark brown? I'm also very leary to go to a hair stylist. I can't find one who will even do my hair right! And about the bleached thing, they said they would have to bleach my hair because it's to dark..

Jillio89, that is wonderful, you should definitely do something as a reward! Whether it be with your hair or whatever, you deserve it!! I'll give her a call and see if she knows the name of the color/brand she used on me. I would say my hair is naturally light brown/dark blonde and she added the honey highlights, no bleaching involved...it just lifted my color enough to give me some highlights, nothing too drastic. When I get the name, maybe you could call a couple salons and see what brand they use or if they use something similar...you are welcome to print out my pic and show it to them too so they know what kind of highlights you are talking about.

Congrats on the weight loss! Looking forward to maybe seeing some pics of your hair!! ???
