Default SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

What am I doing wrong. Why is it that when I use gel in my hair and scrunch out the crunchy after its dried, I have all this white residue. For example, today I no poo with Sauve, then conditioned with one c, followed by mixed chicks, and last Back to Basics curling gel. My hair looks great as far as definition but the white stuff looks icky! I tried the HE totally twisted and the same thing. What am I doing wrong?

I get that if I don't put both my leave in (have to have that or the gel gets gross) and then my gel on really wet hair. If I blot my hair too much or don't use a leave in my gels go flakey.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

Second what MH said, but it can also happen from too much gel.

That happened to me when I was using OneC. I quit using that and no more white stuff.

Also there are certain combinations of products that just don't play nice together.

Thanks Medusahair, I put the gel on really wet hair and it made such a big difference. Now if I can just get it long and healthy like yours
