Default I have found my holy flat iron!

I have found a very good flat iron. I bought it about a month ago at Sally's Beauty Supply store. My hair is so thick and frizzy so if it works for me it will work for anybody! It is called Ceramic Series by Helen of Troy. When I use it I section by hair and apply a hair oil only a little bit. I need to buy a cream or serum to straighten hair because I want to try something other than the African oil that I bought at Wal-Mart.
I had never tried an African-American product before. But they really are for everybody I like them a lot. What products work when they are used with a flat iron?
TIA curlies!

Hey
I used to straighten my hair a lot. I have thick 3B/C hair. The best product for me was Paul Mitchell's Straight Works gel. Use just a tiny lil bit. It works really well. As got better at straightening , I stopped using any products.

Is the helen of Troy straightening iron ceramic? How much was it?? Tell me if its good.
