I voted occassional sulfate user because every once in awhile I like to start with a clean slate. I do try to stay away from most silicones though.

I also voted occasional sulfate user because I do use a sulfate shampoo once a week; occasionally more than that. I just get build up very easily for some reason. I do try to stay away from cones except for the A cone, but if I do use cones once in a while it's not a life or death thing for me.

I use whatever I feel like using. There are just waaaaay too many silicone products that I wanna try, and my hair happens to like a little sulfate for bounce.

I tried CG, and it was only ok for me. Honestly, I got too conditioned and my hair was just flatter than I like. I am very glad that I tried it, though, because I learned an awful lot about my hair. Whenever I start to feel a bit dried out, I hop onto a little modified CG kick to get it in shape again. As soon as it feels good again, I go back to my cones and sulfates.
I'm a 3b, with 3c underneath.

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

Coco-betaine to any sulfates (though it must be gentle) once a week.
Clarifying/stripping sulfates once/twice a month.
A, C, D, P... cone (meaning not -xane).
No drying alcohol as 1st ingredient, no mineral oil or paraffins, no beeswax.

So I voted: silicones, sulfates.. bring it on, but if you had such with to a certain extent tacked on I would have voted for that one.

I poo 2 to 3 times weekly with Aveda Be Curly and use Ouidad's Play Curl Condish, I do a DT weekly with Beverly Hills masque and I like my hair. I'm a PJ, lots of curl enhancer and gel, with a spritz of hairspray (bad, bad), but it works.

I voted for the first option.
100% sulfate free and only the extremely occasional PEG modified dimethicone or A-cone (even more rarely b/c it seems to break me out) pretty far down on the list.
2+ years on that wagon and I've happy there.
I had to use my one sulfate 'poo (Aure Hypoallergenic) a couple months ago because I got desperate while out of town and decided that one go 'round w/ Sunsilk would be the end of the world. Baaaaad idea. That -xane made my hair feel like plastic and broke my face and back out like you would not believe. Never again.
So needless to say, I avoid the -xane like the freakin' plague and save the one sulfate 'poo for emergencies.

100% free for over 2 years. My hair likes it that way.
I'm not sure if that makes me a saint or a sinner!

I wasn't sure what to pick since I adjust as needed.
I sulfate shampoo more in the summer when my hair doesn't need the conditioner coating as much. It helps my curls bounce up better to sulfate poo twice a week or so in the summer.I tend to use it maybe once a month in the winter.

I use the A cone regular in humid weather. I'm not opposed to any cones that my hair isn't opposed to. The cyclo and xane cones without any peg on them tend to bond to my hair and suffocate it but the other cones are fine if I shampoo with sulfates once a week.
Low porosity, medium texture.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

I wasn't sure what to pick either. I only use the A cone, but I shampoo with EBMS every other day, so that makes me a regular sulfate user too, I guess.

occasional sulfate user: I 'poo twice a week. I rarely use 'cones, unless I'm on 3rd or 4th day hair for some reason and it just won't behave. Then I use a bit of frizz cream or a shine spray. But this is really rare. Of course, I do "dry clean" with alcohol/water spray. I guess that makes me the naughtiest curly of all. But it works--makes my hair shinier sometimes.
