How MUCH Re:Coil to use???

This is such a new product for me.....and the first time I used it, I was AMAZED at the curly thing going on....however, I just felt like there was just too much of something going on....not sure what.

Maybe it is the conditioner I am using....I don't know....I am still trying to get things right....

So....how much Re:Coil do I use?? My hair is now JUST BARELY touching my shoulders and it pretty darn thick (even though I just took 10 inches off my head!).

-All OVER the board 2-3a-(depends on the day). 2nd day hair is impossible!
-JUST discovering importance of porosity! Fill and seal! I'm low!
-DC1C, JCGLS, Natural Glycerine for clarifying
-Deva Cuts better for me when shorter (shoulder). Ouidad cuts are EVIL for me.
-When long: BSRHG, Deva BLeaveIn, JCRR
When shorter: Deva BLeaveIn, DevaCurl Foam.
My hair is shoulder length & fairly thick and this morning I used just a pea-sized amount. As the day goes on, however, I realize even this is a bit too much. Next time I'm going to use just a dab -- maybe 1/2 of a pea-size. A little of this stuff definitely goes a really long way - good curl enhancement, though.

I use about a nickel to quarter size, but most people use a lot less. It has never made my hair feel producty, even if I use a lot.

I have very thick, 2b/3a ish shoulder length hair. I use about a pinto bean size in the back and a pinto in the front. I kind of rake it through, then squeeze out water, then scrunch in gel.
