So after being beaten down by my co-worker's anti-curly comments last week, as I was leaving the dentist's office the other day, one of the technicians said, "Wow - your hair is so pretty."

Sometimes, we get those wonderful compliments just when we need them the most.

Still, all the curly-bashing comments I've been reading are just shocking, and totally un-called for. Thankfully we've got nc.com for support.

Hair Type: 3A/3B; natural color; mid-back length.
Daily: CO Wash - V05 Kiwi Lime.
As Needed: Giovanni 50:50 Balancing Shampoo.
Fave Conditioners: KCKT Leave-In; Jessicurl Too Shea; HE Hello Hydration; Wen 613.
Styling Routine: Squish-scrunch product /conditioner into soaking wet, upside down hair; plop for 5-10 minutes, then air dry. (Diffuser dry occasionally.)
Fave Styling Products: Jessicurl CC; various conditioners as styling product; LA Looks Sport Gel.

Uh, yeah, they can MAKE it curly with hours in rollers, a hot curling iron and gallon after gallon of hairspray. What a moron.

ETA: The above is from my straight haired friends' experiences. ("And it STILL didn't stay long! Ugh") Straighties rant too.
