Thanks! That would be awesome! And, I would love to be close so I could have her do my hair...if you get a chance to ask her, that would be awesome! I am trying to grow my hair out, and her hair is so long, she must be doing something right..I know that comes from the inside out, but a good routine would help too!

Ok, I slipped for a bit there...gonna try to go back to doing this...I'll use a bit of Angell though sometimes...My hair is in need of some TLC and consistency from a routine standpoint.

I've been pretty much doing this for the past week, but using ArcAngell. I don't know why I ever stopped doing this in the first place because I was reminded how well my hair seems to like this routine. I leave in almost all of my One C, but I mix it with honey, then ArcAngell over it. I get such nice curls and it's so easy because it's just a couple of steps.

Okay, count me in on giving this a shot. I'm not usually one to go for new routines, but I'm tempted to try this one because
1) Ana's hair is too long and gorgeous to resist
2) My hair and scalp have been giving me fits lately with the weather change and I have to change my routine up a little anyways
3) I already have(Devacare) One C, honey and Arc Angell so I might as well use them
and
4) The fewer the steps the better
I'll start the new routine up sometime next week and then I'll check back in with how it's working for me.

I'm with you and lush! The fewer the steps the better and I also love her hair so it's worth a shot! I'll check back too..I'll be using Angell unless I go get some Arc Angell....

Hi, I just wanted to make sure that I am understanding this routine.
Ana's Routine is :
Wet hair
Co wash with One Condition
Rinse
Condition and detangle with One Condition
Leave in One Condition, scrunch hair with paper towels
Air dry or diffuse

Co wash weekly
The rest of the steps daily

Does this sound right?
Thanks.

That sounds like the routine, except that I don't remember
her saying that she Co wash with OC. Maybe I missed that.
As of December, she told me that she just uses OC and I
thought that she also said No Poo too. I will be there for
the Memorial Day Weekend for a touchup (highlights). I'll
ask her again, unless someone gets to her first, please post.

Oh, yes whatever data you can get when you are there regarding her routine ( what products she uses, how often and also her scrunching technique) would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I've done it a couple of times with Suave Trop.Coconut and once with No-Poo. I couldn't tell any difference either time.

I'm curious how the routine is going for anyone that might be trying it.

I'm thinking that the cones are pulling out some of my curls. My hair has been smooth though. I'm thinking about using only One C and no Arc Angell and maybe my curls will feel lighter. Ana's hair is quite a bit curlier than mine, plus I think my hair is on the fine side, so this might not work for me.

Iwantcurlyhair, my hair does something similar. Sometimes I will just use a light conditioner in the place of One C. That helps because my hair does tend to be on the fine side as well.

Same here girls. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and my hair seems to be getting a bit less curlier and undefined. I thought maybe it was the ArcAngell not being able to hold up, but maybe I just shouldn't leave in any One C, or perhaps it's the combo of the One C and ArcAngell because the One C underneath causes the AA to lose some of its hold? I literally have no crunch after it dries, and my hair seems a bit poofier. I just washed sunday afternoon but I'm going to have to rewash it tomorrow already because I think it looks so boring. I'll either not leave any One C in or try a different gel, or use a different condish. I should probably start by not leaving any One C in though since AA is supposed to be conditioning.

Guano, but after seeing your pictures, banjo, it's a toss up whether you're my hair idol or Ana is. I love those Devacare One C pictures!

Thanks for the responses lush and hockeymom. I tried leaving in only the One C the last time I washed without much luck, my curls were still weighed down. Next time I wash I think I'll just skip the One C step and try using only Arc Angell like Lush said. If that doesn't work I think I'll try leaving in a lighter conditioner like hockeymom said.

Well I definitely had some improvement today. Still not as good as I would like, but definitely improvement. I didn't use One C at all but CEAHT, all rinsed out, then 2 huge palms of AA. Does anyone else see patches of cloudy white areas in their AA? I was wondering if that was the conditioning parts or not? I just noticed it today for the first time, and probably just because I had such huge amounts of it in my palm. But anyway, my hair was definitely a bit curlier than the last few times.
