Default How does Jessicurl package 1 liter of too shea?

I ordered this, but I am wondering, is it in a big ol' jar or what? Anyone have the 1 liter size??

I had ordered off of the swap board and am unsure how old it was or if she still packages it this way.....but what I got came in a "regular" bottle. Much better than a jar! I very much dislike the jar......

It comes packaged in a liter size bottle. They also put some shrink wrap around the bottle itself so that it doesn't leak while in transit. Does that answer your question?

I just got a new liter today, and it now has a pump dispenser.

Wow, a pump would be great. In the past I've transferred Too Shea from the liter to the jar, but that's a pain.

The new liter bottles with the pump dispenser are so much easier to use! Right now I only have liters of the conditioners, but maybe the new pump would help me dispense RR without it getting everywhere but on my hair.

Where do you ladies keep your liter? I like the idea of a pump but I'm not sure that would fit in my shower lol

I have the liter. I keep it in the shower but it pretty much takes up one whole corner! I used it every time I wet my hair in the winter though so it had to be in there.

I hate the jars too. A few days ago I posted about my Too Shea that had gone mouldy. I emailed Jess and she was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was considering suggesting she switch to a tube for the WDT and TS but wouuld have felt rude telling her how to run her business But my TS must have gone mouldy because some water got into it despite that I use a spoon and try not to drip water into it off my face and hair in the shower. I know its thicker but I dont mind having to shake it around a little to get it out rather than it going mouldy instead

Back in the early days, Too Shea was packaged in a bottle similar to Aloeba. People complained that it was too thick and a lot was wasted that stuck to the sides of the bottle and couldn't be squeezed out. So, it's hard to find the perfect solution. Packaging equipment for tubes is different from jars/bottles, and probably pretty expensive.

I found that I can just pour Too Shea into my hand from the jar, which gets no water in the product. I lurv Too Shea! I'll have to buy a liter when they have a sale again.

I'm so glad Jessicurl makes the Too Shea in the Liter size bottle. She was actually kind enough to specially fix me a liter bottle of WDCT when I asked her for it but now I see why she doesn't typically make it in that bottle. It's so thick that none squeezes out through the lid and I have to unscrew the top everytime and sqeeze with both hands (which is hard to do with wet hands in the shower). After I squeeze out as much as possible from my liter of WDCT I'm definitely going to stick with the regular tub size.

On this subject, I keep my jar in the shower and refill it from the liter. Well, this morning, I knocked the open jar off the top off the shower door and it flew across the room causing an explosion of Too Shea on the cabinets and floor. And all I could think was, NOOO, DON"T WASTE THE TOO SHEA!

Do you guys think the pump would completely prevent water from getting into the bottle? Our master bathroom has a shower stall rather than tub, and the shelves are not tall or big enough to fit a liter bottle. If I kept a liter with a pump on the floor, do y'all think it would be safe?

Yes, there shouldn't be any way for water to get into a pump bottle, as long as the pump is screwed on tight.

My BF surprised me with on of those corner sets of shelves with a pole that goes between the floor and ceiling of our stall shower. It holds a lot of stuff, isn't in the way, and has adjustable shelves so I can fit liters in there.
