Default Summer v Winter hair question

I know I've seen threads about what you're "supposed" to change for the summer humidity - lighter or no creams, leave out leave-in - but how can you tell that you need to make these changes? My routine is working pretty well and I don't want to change it if I don't have to!

If we all lived in a "Curly Kingdom" where the subjects had to follow certain rules "or else" then we'd be "supposed" to do this or that "just because", but since we're all free to do what works best for our hair that is only meant to apply to those who suddenly notice their hair is no longer responding well to the products they were using before. Since you're not having any problems you obviously don't need to change anything.

I changed to my winter routine from my summer routine when my summer routine proved to be ineffective for the winter dryness.

When (or if at this rate since it isn't warming up) heat and humidity team up to make my winter routine ineffective, I'll switch again.

Nutty you'll know when to change because your hair will stop behaving. Until then enjoy the fab hair days!

Thanks ladies, I guess I was trying to ask what the symptoms of summer hair are? Do the heavy products make it limp or something? I think of summer as being frizzy from humidity but for that I wouldt hink the heavy creams would still be good.
