Default Moptop vs. Devacurl

It's been a long time since I've done a gratuitous poll here....

Per my other threads about giving up Lush and getting a new haircut, I've rekindled my product-junkie days. I've been using Devacurl No-poo and One Condition for the past several days. I'm not convinced I'm impressed, but I'll use the entire bottles before I give a verdict. I also have some Moptop products (shampoo, conditioner, gel, pomade, some type of spray) I'll try when I finish Devacurl. For those of you who have tried both lines, which do you like best?

DEVA ALL THE WAY!!!
I love the deva line I keep trying new things but I always go back to the deva stuff for consistant good hair days.
The mop top line isnt working for me I have tried several times now and no luck whatsoever.

Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, guess I'll have to eat worms...

For my adoring public of three, I shall say that DevaCurl may be winning this particular battle. I like NoPoo, and OneCondition is nice enough. I seem to have to use a lot of it, though. Angell didn't work for me at all. Very crunchy and didn't do much to define or defrizz.

Not crazy about the MopTop shampoo or conditioner. I think Lush actually performs better. I like the pomade, though. For me it works best if I use it alone, spreading through my hair as if it were a gel. I can get away with "oops too much" without it looking awful and gooey, and it works with NoPoo.

Not sure I'm ready to commit to DevaCurl, though. It doesn't work as well when I use silicone serums.

I just voted other (I wasn't the first). I don't like the Deva products and have never used the other two. I've read a lot of good things about AG/Re:coil and Joiwhip. I couldn't get them to work for me but nothing is working for me right now.

ETA: I have to change my opinion. I used Deva No-poo and One C (as leave-in) this morning with Re:coil and Joiwhip and my hair turned out great. Today, I am voting maybe give the Deva products a try.

I love MopTop. It leaves softer curls and smells so much better than Deva.

I voted Mop Top because the gel has become an HG for me. I love it! It's very curl enhancing, BUT it doesn't have quite enough hold so I add just a dab of BRHG on top and it's perfect. I also love the Lemon Sage conditioner; like it much better than the DevaCurl OneC, but not too sure I like the Mop Top shampoo - it seems a little harsh so I might try the Mop Top Fuzzy Duck shampoo for kids. I also use the DevaCurl No Poo and really like it.

Ya know I voted Deva but Jessicurl should be a choice.

Further experimenting reveals that MopTop gel works really well for me, too. I even like the way the shampoo and conditioner works with it (and you're right, C&G, MopTop smells much better than Deva). I get best results when I use just the conditioner and gel, no combing.
