Default Polyvinyl things??? WHAT?

I was just on the ingredients list posted in 411 from like April 2005...and it listed things that are POLYVINYL as making a film on hair, but didn't state if that was ok or not!

Is that ok?? I know -cones and sulfates aren't, but what about this polyvinyl stuff?

1st Ouidad Cut 3/13...HUGE fail. Deva cuts are overrated, too, for me.

polyvinyls are gonna be the PVA/PVP in any hair gel you buy. I don't think I own any gels without one of the two, although I think they exist. CO should be sufficcient to get them out, and the CG book reccomends gels that use a co-polymer of the two so you're probably allright

Thank you! Feel like I have to be a scientist to figure all of this out!
