Default Anyone use the BaByliss Pro 3500 Radiant Heat Dryer?

I am looking for a new diffuser, and was wondering if anyone uses this one that is described here:

I would love to get the DevaFuser but it is soooo expensive!

Hmmm, I use a $5 diffuser from Sally's Beauty Supply and it works great.

If you do end up with one of these, let us know the results, I would be very curious about the difference .

I saw it at TJ Maxx, too, and was dying to know whether it worked. Considering how long it normally takes to sit under heat lamps at salons that offer them, I can't imagine holding it up for a long period of time, but maybe it works much faster. So I'm very curious too.

I bought the TJ Max one. Returning it today.

#1: It just couldn't dry my hair. My hair was completely gross both days I attempted to use it.

#2 The coils were glowing orange and I was afraid to let it get very close to my hair for fear of igniting myself...

#3 My biggest problem was that there was such a huge difference in the settings. Just the radiant heat was warm but barely came out. If you turned the airflow up, it would blast. And it's not like you can add an attachment to adjust it.

I figured with a traditional diffuser, at least I can take it off if I want it to blast, and the 5$ diffuser doesn't make me afraid that I'm going to burn myself... Anyway, not worth even $20 IMO.

Who knows... maybe you'll have a completely different experience. Here's hoping anyway.
