For those that co-wash, water wash, etc - question

When you co-wash or water wash do you always condition after the co-wash or water wash? So if you co-wash you then also use a conditioner after that - correct? I know everyone has their own routine but I was just wondering in general what most of you do. TIA

Yes. Though for me, a "water wash" just means a good rinse. I always use conditioner after any type of "wash" - shampoo, co-wash, or "water wash".

Thanks Pixie Curl - that's what I thought. I may try the not washing every day thing again.

When I was CG, my hair couldn't take too much of the conditioner, but I loved the way my hair dried with a leave-in under gel. So, I'd CO wash, let it sit for a few minutes, detangle, rinse very well, then just use a dab or two of leave-in and my gel. That way, I avoided getting over-conditioned.

I always use conditioner afterwards no matter what. If not, then I definitely would use a leave-in.

I always use a rinse out condish, and lately I have been leaving some of it in, and getting great spirals with the extra moisture.
Anytime I totally wet my hair (which is pretty much everyday!) I have to condition it.

I don't condition my hair after a co-wash or water-wash. But I do mix little conditioner in with my gel.
