Default Help, how do I get it out?

I had a banquet to go to and I wanted my hair to look good. So after diffusing I used a shine serum that was full of cones to help with the frizz, and then used a hairpray (with drying alcohols) to keep it in place. I will admit it did work, but how do I get these out of my hair? Will a no sulfate shampoo work? What about a clarifier like ACV? What do you all think? TIA

I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to what gets what out but, I think what you use to get the cones out depends on whether they're water soluble or not. The water soluble cones (stuff with a PEG in the name) will come out I think with just a co-wash or non-sulfate poo. The non-soluble stuff like the cyclo-cone needs a sulfate.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Whenever I get buildup from amo-cone, ACV or baking soda usually does the trick. If not, I go to low-poo or HCC.

Since you only used the serum once, it should come out pretty easily. I would start gentle & work my way up until it's gone. Let us know how it goes....

Glad you had great banquet hair!

So this is what I did. I washed twice with HCC then did an ACV rinse, and then used Too Shea, and left it all in. Washing twice made my scalp squeak, but I hope it meant I got everything out. I used TS to put moisture back in, hopefully it will work.

All you need to get anything like that out is shampoo. Plain & simple, one wash.
