Do any of you use a lavendar spray or the gylcerin spray?

My CG book is packed away, but I remember that there were recipies for these two things. Do any of you use them with any luck? I'm thinking of maybe making some, maybe even some aloe gel.

I use a lot of the lavendar spray...tons in fact..lol...I tried the glycerin spray once but I don't think it was vegetable glycerin so my hair hated it.

I have also made refrshing sprays with White Rain Ocean Mist cond and water and another one made from FOTE Aloe gel and water. Both work good depending on what your needs are.

I am never able to get 2nd day hair and I am wondering if any of these might do the trick. Do you use any of it throughout the day? How much, what does it help with, etc? Thanks so much!

Well I mainly use the lavedar spray for a real light refresh and odor control. I'm a smoker, so it helps. I also use it for other things such as cooling off, air freshener...clothes freshener..lol..that is why I use so much.

I use the white rain cond mix cuz the ocean mist has sea salt and other sea botanicles in it. It is great for odor control and extra moisture when hair is starting to feel dry. Tha aloe mix is good for a lil moisture and a lil extra hold. Both of these seem to help with boosting the miday curl and adding definition when it starts to wear away for me.

As for 2nd day hair.....do not feel bad. I have only gotten second day hair one time in two years. LOL..my hair is just way too fine and thin and has gotten curlier over time. I have just excepted the fact I have to at least completely wet it every morning to style it even if I do not wash it.

Oops for got to add...I mix the aloe the same way it suggests in the book for making spray gel and I usually mix about a fourth of the cond with three fourths water.

I use the cond mix more than the aloe gel. And ya basically mist your hair to personal preference.
