My hair is thin, fine, 4a. The curls are very tight, coily. The curls vary from pen spring size to straw size. I have been happy with my curls since I found Kinky-Curly Knot Today and Curling Custard. This product helps me acheive the following:
loosen/elongate the curl
create shine
reduce frizz
clump strands of hair together
soften hair

I use the Ouidad gel application method for applying the Kinky-Curly products. I usually co-wash every 3 - 4 days with the Knot Today.
