Behentrimonium Metosulphate??

This is in the Mop Top Daily Co and I saw in something else in my cabinet. Does anyone know what this is and if it is water soluble/CG friendly?

Thanks!!

OK, I googled and this is what I found-- Note that I could not find METOsulphate, I found METHOsulfate (Do you think Mop Top left the h out of the word??)

"Behentrimonium methosulfate is the mildest hair-detangling ingredient available. It is made from non-genetically modified rapeseed oil. This scientifically sophisticated ingredient is renowned for its superior detangling ability, without causing build-up on the hair. Unlike other hair detanglers, which are known for their irritancy, behentrimonium methosulfate is extremely mild, being recommended for use in baby products which are left on the skin. It is superior in effectiveness and mildness to it's commonly used cheaper cousin, behentrimonium chloride. It is not a sulfate."

I know the Mop Top conditioner is silicone and wax free. I know the shampoos are sulfate-free, but don't know about this ingredient in the conditioner. I really like it, though.

If you e-mail info@moptophair.com, Kelly is great at answering any questions you might have. I know she's really big on not putting any ingredients in her products that would cause buildup. It might take a day or so to get a response, but you will get one.

Well, behentrimonium chloride is used the the most detangling conditioners. If this is the higher quality cousin, then I'm sure it's a great ingredient.

Thanks, I think I will email to check. And...I got my Mop Top co and gel today. I went ahead and tried the co even with that ingred. that I'm not sure about. Love it so far. I co washed with V05 Tea therapy, co with the Mop Top and used the Mop Top as a leave in. Followed that with re:coil, the gel, and a little BRHG. Lots of clumping, yay!!
