Default I really wanna go BLONDE!will it suit me-UPDATE

I've had highlights for a year now,and I kept adding more highlights with time. The lighter I went the more compliments I got, till I got a full head of blonde highlights which really sucked and looks terrible on me...I've had worse colors, but this certainly isnt best.Anyways,I have been dyiing my hair before this very dark, even darker than my natural haircolor (which is dark brown)for years,so Im really bored with dark colors.I experimented a bit with lighter brunette but still go bored of the dark since I've had dark hair for so long.I keep wanting to go lighter, and rightg now I really want platinum highlights...but I dont want the same highlights I get, which are thin to medium and look like one color, but more of chunky big pieces with lots of dark, since all over blonde doesnt look good on me. This is what I mean by the thickness of highlights I want:

The color of highlights I want is this shade of blonde:

And Im not sure about the base. This is also the color I want, but it doesnt show will since I took the pic from the TV

Problem is I dont know what the base color should be,and I dunno if this woman has just one color or highlights, because I see a base color at the bangs, but dont know if it actually is or is just a shadow or something.

Ok,now its time for you to please give your opinions on how you think the color would look on me,because I reaaaaaaaaallly need advice. Here are some pics of me,not very clear since from a webcam, but I put a few so you'd get an idea about my skincolor and stuff

Advice pls

Honestly, I think you look beautiful with dark hair, and I do not think blond would look good on you. Plus, it would probably make your hair look dry and processed, like straw.

I love women with dark hair. I think it's striking. I'm not sure why so many women with dark hair feel they have to lighten it. I'm a natural blond and I can't say this enough--I love beautiful, healthy dark hair that has not been messed with. It's just gorgeous.

ETA The pictures of you are very pretty!

Completely agree. I think you look beautiful with dark hair. You have dark eyebrows, dark eyes, warmer complexion. Dark hair suits you.

BUT I know what you mean by needing a change. I'm naturally light haired/blonde and I'm SO SICK OF IT. I'd love your dark eyes, hair, brows. The grass is always greener.

Blonde is hard to manage...you have to color/highlight more frequently. Not to mention condition, condition, condition. It also ruins my curls when i highlight.

Maybe try some red or carmelly tones...

not for you. Since you resemble marisa tomei, check out what alternate colors she has tried.

ITA. I love your dark hair too, and don't think too much blonde will look good, especially with your very dark brows. You could stick with some chunky highlights but I wouldn't go overboard. I have seen the platinum ones in dark hair; while it's not natural, it can look ok if done well. But I think red or caramel highlights would be better.

Dark hair like yours is always desirable...not like mousy brown, which is the "real" hair color of a lot of blonds.

How about auburn...or auburn highlights? Or auburn and a mixture of something else?

You are VERY beautiful... and I love big dark eyes and dark hair.

I think you should keep your color the way it is.

I would not go blonde. I think it might wash out your skin a bit, you have the dark eyes and the dark hair, it suits you well.

If you wanted highlights, I might go with a VERY muted blonde, or even a light brown. Blonde like the pics you posted would be WAY too light for you.

I think you should go for it--you are very pretty and young, and it would look great if you get the blonde shades that work with your skin tones. Hope you get the look you want!

I think your dark hair is beautiful and highlights are a great idea. If you want to go all the way, maybe you should visit a wig shop and try on some blonde hairpieces so you can figure out what color works.

I wouldn't touch your color. Blonde hair is very drying and high maintenance. Your hair color looks great and complements your skin tone.

Agreed! And look how well the caramel/auburn highlights work for her.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I say do it. Go blonde! I have a friend who looks like you, and she has blonde hair that looks beautiful. No harm in just trying it out!

You look great with dark hair, so I'm also going to say don't-go-blonde.

If you want a change, AND healthy hair, you might want to consider using henna. It will give you an allover wash of red without changing your natural color. I LOVE henna. My hair is so healthy and shiny from it.

What about lighter brown or reddish highlights? Your hair is very pretty dark and because it's dark it would take a lot to get it really blond and would probably damage your hair.

My hair is sandy brown with natural blond high lights and when I got more highlights added that part totally had a different texture than the rest of my hair and was very easy to brake.

You are beautiful. If you want a change maybe try something lighter, but not blond or blond clip on hair pieces!

I for the life of me cannot figure out why so many dark headed women want to be blonde. Your hair color is so pretty. Dark hair is always going to shine more than blonde hair and I think that curls also look better in darker tones. I also think that the majority of people look best with their natural hair color, so I am saying to not dye your hair.
