X-post: Looking for shine

Does anyone know of a CG-friendly shine-enhancing product?

Has anyone tried any of these/are they CG-friendly?

CurlFriends Shine Hair Gloss
Curlisto Glow and Shine
Curl Junkie Curl Fuel
Elucence Serious Shining Spray
Ojon Conditioning Shine Serum
Ojon Leave-in Glossing Cream
Ojon Shine and Protect Glossy Mist

TIA! :D

Answer: No!

But find that ACV rinses make my hair shine a little more.

Curl Euphoria Elixir is good for adding shine. I don't know if they changed the ingredients recently (as they are prone to do,) but I use it (sparingly) to add shine, especially when I've done my hair straight.

A little jojoba oil and water mix with your leave-in regimen might help.

Just using a leave in usually gives shine for me since my hair is dark. Abba nourishing conditioner seems to leave a lot of shine.
Curl Keeper adds shine also although it's mostly for frizz.
Clear gels help with shine since ones with color tend to dull my hair somewhat.

Jessicurl Confident Coils does it on my hair. I noticed it first when I was touching up a spot curl on 2nd day hair with some JCCWS and water.

I've been using the Glisten To Me mixture in the CG book. It's equal parts of glycerin and water. I spray it into my hands and scrunch into my hair after it's dry or almost dry. Gives some curl enhancement, too :).

I haven't used any of the things you listed. I get shine on occasion with some of my regular products but it varies on the weather and 3,000,001 other factors  !

You've nailed it, LavenderCurls! My hair was looking dull when I posted this question and now it's back to being (reasonably) shiny.

With the weather changing (and 3,000,001 other factors :D), lately my hair can be frizzy or smooth, dull or shiny...without altering my products or routine. *Sigh* -- I guess I've just gotta be patient and go with the curly flow...

Both Curl Keeper & PM Super Sculpt (used alone, not together) add great shine for me, but you have to use a lot of them. You could also try using a color rinse now and then. I find that it closes the cuticle and produces mega shine for a week or two. In my fotki.com album, the pictures taken in March 2007 show my hair immediately after a colorgloss. They are easy to do at home too with Clairol Radiance from Sally's. HTH
