Suburbanbushbabe!!

You are definitely feeding my PJ madness!!!!!! I was looking at your fotki photos and saw the Cara headband.........aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I MUST HAVE THAT HEADBAND!!!!! It's sooooo expensive, though. What did you do? You're helping feed the madness. I will not be happy till I have it. I love headbands, and that double band style is awesome. And now that I've been to the nordstrom website and seen all of the Cara headbands, it's pure madness! I could spend hundreds!

Is it comfortable to wear all day? I have a tendency to rip headbands off halfway through the day because they start to hurt. I'm hoping for the cost of an arm and a leg that it would be comfortable.

Thanks for helping me bankrupt myself even more for the sake of hair happiness!

(asthmatic breathing and reverb) Welcome to the dark side Luke...

The Cara is bronzed leather; it also comes in silver and gold. It you don't need leather I've seen some very nice double headbands for cheaper (L. Erickson, maybe). I may have some bookmarks.....

I have had to set spending limits because I've seen headbands and hair accessories that I wanted -- badly -- for like $90 and much more! No frikking' way. Hair Boutique has an incredible selection and their service is very good. I haven't bought from any of the others but their double-band selection is pretty good.

To answer your original questions, it's quite comfortable and I have a big head and big hair.

I've seen pics of Cara headbands and loved them as some of them seemed to be full circle as opposed to those headache causing U-shaped things. I wear a 7 5/8 hat - I wonder if I could still fit it...

I was drooling over Nordstrom's headbands...

Pssst, try this:

Go to amazon and type in Violet Love Headband.

These are awesome. They are like Buff's, but smaller and adorable.

You can see them in action here: http://www.violetloveheadbands.com

Be careful, one is NOT enough.
*CG for wavies. Type 2/3ab mix.
(overgrown) Inverted bob.
*Conditioner - VO5, Oyin, Goth Rosary
*Gel - Origins, Jessicurl or Lush
*Lo-Poo - Carols Daughter
The caras are sorta u-shaped. I posted a photo of it off my hair in Headbands folder:

My hair is quite springy, so I get best fit when I tie up my hair first in a scunci, slip it on then remove the scunci.
